What if Freddie and Sam have a little heart to heart during Gordon and Jodi's wedding?
A third person POV.

- iDoQuick A/N: I had Freddie call her Sammy because canonly only her family and Freddie get away with it. Freddie wouldn't have gotten the boyfriend pass to say it yet. But I still thought it'd be cute.
_______________________"Sammy..."
"Don't call me that."
Freddie seemed to just laugh. "Sam, come on. What's wrong? The wedding ceremony is over. Now we're just here for the reception. It's basically a party." Sam sighed and looked at the brunette. "I hate weddings. Marriage ends in divorce. Divorce leads to an endless door of relationships." Freddie sat next to her. "Well, you know you can sit here and hate your parents' choices or you could come spend time with Carly, Spencer, and me?" His proposal only made Sam roll her eyes. "Benson just leave me alone unless you have an idea that won't make you sound like a nub." He hummed for a minute. "Let's just play a game of honesty. Terms of the game, you can ask any question but the person has to answer honestly. No lying or half-truths." Sam nodded. "Alright but only because I'm curious about something." Freddie shrugged and then without hesitation started them off. "Did you mean it when you said I'm the best at nothing and barely a man?"
"Well...I don't have much to compare it to just Pete but you're the best kisser I know of. I'm sure you're not the best tech nerd in the world but pretty okay. I mean there's lots of better tech nerds. Like that guy who created the pearphone. I stick by barely a man though. I mean you're a teenager."
"Thanks for that great confidence boost." Freddie muttered sarcastically.
"Yeah. Whatever. I need to know. Why is it that guys like about daffodils like Carly?"
"I don't know. I haven't put much thought into lately. I guess I just like her because I always have."
"Follow up question! Are you saying that you don't like Carly anymore?"
Freddie froze in shock for a moment before responding. "If I said that would you tell Carly?" Sam shook her head. "No." Freddie seemed tense as responded. "Then yes, I think that's what I'm saying." Sam bit the inside of her cheek before she spoke. "Why do you like weddings?"
"Well in a perfect world I'd get the girl of my dreams. Why do you really hate weddings?"
"I have no trust in what happens after the wedding. Yeah the wedding is a bunch of pretty words and a party. But marriage? It's like walking into the woods blindfolded." She paused and stared at Freddie. "Why does it have to be a perfect world and the girl of your dreams?" He just shrugged at her before responding. "I've always imagined it that way. Why do you ask?" Sam shrugged in response. "It's a question of curiosity. Speaking of curiosity, who's the better kisser me or Carly?"
"What? I'm not answering that."
"Why not?"
"Because no matter what I say someone's feelings get hurt."
"Okay, but weren't you the one made up the terms of the game? So let's hear it, nub."
"Well, it's hard to tell you guys are very different. Carly used a lot of tongue and always had lipgloss on. You want me to compared to that to 7 or 8 second kiss where we both had chapped lips? Because if I did I'd actually..."
"Jeez, nub. You could've just said Carly was the better kisser you didn't have to rub it in."
"I didn't say that. You didn't let me finish." He tucked some hair behind her ear. "I'd actually find it hard to compare something so simple to something so...flirtatious."
"Freddork, is this your nerdy way of saying that you want to kiss me again?"
Freddie's eyebrows furrowed but he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the view of others. "So what if it is?" He asked; clearly flirting. Sam smiled. "I might let you under certain circumstances." Freddie frowned. "Do they require breaking our no secrets promise?" Sam shook her head. "You just have to answer one last question." He nodded for her to continue. "Do you blame me for your break up with Carly? It's always bothered me. I always thought maybe you blame me." He took in a deep breath. "Yes and no. Yes, I blame you for telling me what I already knew but didn't want to hear. No, I don't blame you for my decision to break up with Carly because of what you said. Why is there a reason to blame you?"
"It's stupid to tell you what you probably already know." She muttered and he raised his eyebrows. "One last question?"
"Sure."
"Do you hate me?"
"No."
"Follow up question?"
"Sure."
"Do you like me?"
"Frednub, just kiss me before I change my mind." Freddie put his hands on Sam's waist and drew her close. She was in shock but she smiled at him. "Changed my mind." She whispered and then kissed his cheek. No kiss was needed. This moment was worth so much more. Who knew you could have a good time in an ugly blue dress at a wedding that you didn't even want to be at? Definitely not Sam Puckett. When the two teens pulled apart, there seemed to be some sort of silent agreement that this wedding sucked until their honesty game. "No one needs know we almost kissed. At least they don't need to know now. I'll go back first. Carly hasn't seen me in awhile. She probably thinks I'm trying to escape out a window." Sam reasoned and then walked off quickly. Freddie could tell already that Sam would probably wait for the perfect moment to tell Carly. Which was something that didn't exist but he'd let Sam have that. He smiled and headed over to the group.
"Freddie, I'm glad your pep talk worked on Sam! I'll have to hear it some time."
"Ah yeah, sure. I'll paraphrase it for you, Spence. Some of it was really personal to Sam... I'm not sure if I should repeat it."
