Quick A/N: I had a request for a part 2 of iHate Weddings and a request for Seddie dancing at Gordon and Jodi's wedding so here it is.
________________________________
Sam and Freddie seemed to have completely different views on weddings. That was made abundantly clear to both of them while they were playing a game of truth. The idea of the game was to answer all the questions truthfully. But something the two of them didn't need a game of truth to know was firstly, they wanted to kiss each other. And secondly, Sam hated to dance. Freddie did kiss Sam. In fact, Freddie had almost kissed Sam again at the wedding they were currently attending.

However, now Freddie made a promise to Spencer to tell him a paraphrased version of his pep talk to Sam. He said it had to be paraphrased because some of it was personal. That's what he was currently doing. He was telling him about the game of questions and answering honestly. But he wasn't telling him any questions. However he made it sound like all the questions were wedding themed and Spencer seemed shocked Sam stayed on topic. "So did you find out why she's so miserable then?" Spencer finally asked and Freddie nodded. "She thinks all marriages will end like her parents' marriage and she's miserable thinking about her future being that way." Spencer raised an eyebrow and had a follow up question. "And you convinced her differently? How?" Freddie just laughs and responds quickly on his feet. "The catering. I told her I'm pretty sure she can find something she likes." Spencer suddenly saw a girl about his age staring at him and he walked away from Freddie without notice to go talk to her instead. Freddie just shrugged and went off to find Sam.

Sam was with Carly so Freddie spent awhile dealing with Sam's usual bullying. He didn't even feel offended. He didn't know why but it kind of felt more like flirting now that he knew she didn't hate him. He just bantered back like usual and waited for Carly to intervene. She reminded them it was a wedding so they should be on their best behavior.

At some point, Carly decided it was best she go apologize to Jodi and Gordon's families for all the earlier distress they caused. She claimed she probably would have done it sooner had it not been for not wanting to get in the way of the festivities. Sam and Freddie barely acknowledged her leaving and didn't seem to care when she did.

After awhile they seemed to fall into a comfortable silence almost like they'd forgotten whose company they were in. But there's no way that they could forget because both their minds were on the kiss that almost happened earlier that day. Freddie was the first to break the silence. It was during a slow dance that he decided to do so. He stood and put his hand out. "May I have this dance?" Sam looked at him with a confused look but she continued drinking her punch. She thought about it for a moment before responding. "That made you sound like a nub." He laughed slightly and looked at his outstretched hand as if silently asking again; this time she took his hand. "Of course you can. But don't hold me too close. And this doesn't mean we're dating... We're just friends... Who occasionally want to kiss each other." They walked to the dance floor and he held her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"This isn't so bad."

"Yeah. It could be worse."

"Hey, Benson. Thanks for making this wedding not suck."

"Anytime, Puckett."

She rested her head on his shoulder. "I think from now on... I'm just going to stick with you at weddings... Well until you're the groom. That would be awkward." She responded. Freddie just smiled and kissed the top of her head. He found her honesty endearing and responded with some honesty of his own. "I'll deny this if you ever repeat it but I think our arguments are my favorite part of each day." Sam laughed and rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, Nub. Your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone ever that you are the kind of guy who enjoys torment."

Meanwhile, Sam also had a secret. Thoughts she hoped would never leave her lips. She actually had a crush on Freddie Benson and it wasn't going away anytime soon.
