i wake up only a couple minutes later to aris calling my name. i get up and quickly untie him from the chair, and then step back - remembering everything that had happened. i stare at the floor finally realising that i am in love with aris and i have ruined everything between us.
"y/n?" aris says, nervously approaching me. the fear he is showing is what finally breaks me. i sit on the floor with my head in my knees, letting out uncontrollable sobs.
aris sits next to me and strokes my hair.
"you don't have to do that" i say
"what?" he says, sounding genuinely confused.
"pretend you don't think im a monster." i say, trying to hold it together.
"what?" he says again "i don't think that!" he says, shocked. i lift my head up.
"i don't know what i think about you but i definitely don't think you are a monster!" he says. and i could tell he instantly regrets it.
"what do you mean?" i ask.
"uhh.." he struggles. "you have just been giving me mixed signals."
"what? have i?" i ask, surprised.
"shit." he mutters under his breath. "lets just leave it" he says.
"no." i say. "i want to know what you think of me"
