Dustin didn't say a word, he just kept staring at me while I walked over to where Eddie sat. Eddie had gotten me a chair next to him so I could watch the game. Everyone thought it was normal, everyone except Dustin. He kept glaring at Eddie and then at me. Eddie and Erica argued about Erica's position in the club, but I didn't hear a lot of it because I just stared into Dustin's eyes, trying to get some sort of explanation from him. But he just stared back, not showing anything.

"So, if I get you correctly, Dustin." I started after Erica had popped off on Eddie. "You don't want me to join the club but you're fine with an 11-year-old joining?"

Dustin sighed and looked over at Eddie again. He pointed his hand at me and spoke up.

"Why did you let her in?" He asked.

"She's a promising candidate." Eddie replied. "I could definitely imagine her being a Hellfire club member."

He looked over at me and smiled so I smiled back. Then we both looked at Dustin who still looked annoyed by us.

"She's our.." Eddie began and swirled his hand around. "Hellfire queen for tonight."

Dustin groaned one last time and then everyone sat down. The campaign soon started, it was all very fascinating to me. I loved D&D and I even used to play it with the party before Will moved, but ever since they got into high school and joined Hellfire club, Dustin has been refusing to let me play with them. I was maybe even more invested in it than Dustin, and that's saying something.

But soon, the club ran into a problem. They were about to die to Vecna, and they only had two people left. Dustin and Erica. They huddled together in a ring and discussed their plan with each other. Everyone wanted to back out except Erica and Dustin.

"Fucking pussies." I mumbled.

Eddie heard it and chuckled a little bit, which Dustin heard so he immediately turned his head away from the rest of the group and looked over at us. When he saw us just sitting there, he turned back to the group again. Eddie looked at me with a look that said 'what the fuck is this child doing'. And I just shrugged, not knowing what the hell Dustin was up to. Soon, the others turned back to us and looked Eddie straight in the eyes.

"Let's kill this son of a bitch." Dustin said.

"But the odds are 20 to 1." Eddie said.

"Never tell me the odds." Dustin replied. "Give me the D20."

Eddie smiled and threw the D20 to him. Dustin started shaking his dice and then threw it on the table, but it wasn't good enough. He failed, he died. I chuckled a little bit at his fail because he seemed so confident.

"That's a missss!" Eddie said while shaking his head around.

They started cussing and Dustin even hit something, but it wasn't over yet. It was Erica's turn. Me and Eddie looked at each other and shared a 'they're never gonna make it' look. Erica shook the dice for what felt like forever. It fell on the table and rolled around, it was like everything was in slow motion. It landed on 20.
