The adoption of Christianity had encouraged its native followers to enjoy their lives and have more good opportunities in life. This also applies to women as well. They were encouraged to do things men traditionally do, as long as they maintain duty at home. Unlike the other branches of Christianity, the Far Eastern Church encourages its followers to read the Bible  for themselves instead of relying on the interpretation by the priests and elders of the church. Although it might resulted in a divided church, but it didn't, and they managed to maintain their unity in the face of hardship.
Also, politics in the early Philippine islands was bloodless and straight forward, with kings and chieftains usually answer their people's petitions, while local assemblies make laws for their people.
As a result of their unity and bloodless politics, they rarely wage war to each other, except for small disputes and arguments on secular matters. But they do wage war with the non-Christian tribes, but is oftenly less bloody.
