in which an ice cream scooper
can't stop thinking about the girl
who's lips taste like coca-cola.

steve "the hair" harrington was used to
being the king of hawkins high & "ruling
the school." after graduation, he was lost
in life. not going off to college like what
seems like the rest of the world was up
to — he stayed in hawkins like every
other nobody. being forced to pick up
a job as a way to get out of his parent's
shithole and, hell i mean make some
extra cash. so he picked up a wanted
ad for an ice cream scooper at the mall
ice cream shop.

lola cunningham had a similar uprising,
she needed a new amp for her guitar &
there was no way in hell her parents were
paying for it. so she works behind the
counter at the refreshment "coca-cola"
bar at starcourt mall four days a week.
in which steve harrington has memorized
her exact clock in and out time for each
shift.

oooo. (TW) lola is obvs chrissy's twin sister.
they have a rocky relationship bc they've
been compared their whole lives. their
mother is like nice to them ig in every
way except like how they eat. she
obviously caused chrissy an ED
and she's always nitpicking what
her daughters eat (she sucks). and
the dad is like there but not there
if you get what i mean.

oooo. so pretty much chrissy and steve
dated in middle school and chrissy always
like kinda flirted with steve throughout
high school. and everyone kinda shipped
them even though steve never really
like her he liked nancy (they never
actually dated tho, after the whole
nancy wheeler is a slut thing that
fight they had they actually ended it
and just ended up becoming friends).
so everyone's like so confused when
he starts hanging out with her "freak"
sister.

oooo. everyone made fun of lola in school
but she didn't really pay attention or care,
unlike steve she could not give a shit what
people think of her. she helps him realize
that when they're stuck in the ruissian
underground base. so steve really never
got to know her, only her sister.

oooo. to clarify steve and chrissy never
dated and never will, he just became
infatuated with her sister after school and he feels bad about it bc she's not "cool" or "popular"
but robin teases him about lola all the
time bc she notices him staring at her
from behind the counter.

oooo. she always calls him every
name in the book: loser, dumbass,
stupid, idiot, etc.

oooo. steve ends up going to the coke bar
and trying to talk to her but ends up
failing so bad. it's funny and he's so
awkward.

oooo. it's kind of up to you to decide
who her friends are. i feel like maybe
eddie munson & the hellfire club
are her bsfs & she's apart of the
band. but she becomes v close to
robin and she robin and steve are
best friends in the season 4 part.

oooo. book is based right before
season 3 - through season 3 - through
season 4 - whenever you want.

oooo. she also becomes good friends w
nancy after the whole starcourt battle.
which i can see her chaotic bitchiness
becoming so funny trying to be friends
w nancy mf wheeler.

oooo. okay so pls pls pls write between
starcourt and spring break. a little bit at
least we need some happiness and peace
and to actually see lola and steve dating
before all hell breaks lose. even if it's just
a few chapters or whatever and flashbacks
throughout s4.

oooo. pls pls pls show the aftermath of
starcourt bc i know it was brutal. i know
they were sobbing in each other's arms.
i know they couldn't sleep and had
nightmares about it for weeks. i know
how devastating going through that
was. so pls. include it, don't just skip
to s4 after writing the battle. include
the aftermath.

oooo. okay so hear me out. when robin
is taken separately for questioning by
the russians, steve kind of just goes on
about how much he likes lola and she
admits she also likes him. and after
the drugs wear off (they're SO funny
on the drugs) they finally kiss in the
bathroom as they're puking their guts
out. how sweet 😍😍

oooo. lola just goes along w it when she
finds out about the russians. like she is
so open minded and she's also stoned
when they start working on it so like
she just accepts it and is just like
"cool". she's v chill.

oooo.  okay steve and lola start
dating after starcourt - officially. they
date like happily for a year and there's
a million flashbacks of them throughout
the season four part since it's just so
depressing. pretty much after chrissy dies,
lola cuts steve out for like two days and even though she knows eddie didn't do it
and it had something to do with hawkins and
it's evilness, she's super upset. pretty
much she's moping for a little bit of the
season four plot obviously but then she
starts to get the headaches and sees the
clock and she tells steve and like this
is when they're realizing what this is
all about. (it's up to you if max is
also a victim). so they like try and
protect her and steve is so fkn
protective over her. then she ends
up in vecna's lair and he puts her
headphones on her and she makes it
through it. it's up to you like what she
sees and stuff (probably chrissy obvs)
but like yeah. i would prefer if she
survived through it all though.
