"Hm, I wonder what gens up to this weekend" it was a half term, I hadn't hung out with gen outside of school for a bit now. It bothered me more than it probably should have. Gen hadn't texted recently either. "Its best if I dont pry maybe is he doing through something, I mean if he was I would totally want to be there for him but?" I said in an unenthusiastic murmur as I rolled onto my back holding my phone high above my head looking at random photo Gen had recently posted on his ig. It was of him eating lunch with some fancy business people, I swiped across and couldn't help but light up as a photo of him and I was posted not long ago. My face went from pale to rose red. I grasped my mouth in an attempt to hide my smile. "what the hell. . ." I mumbled to myself. I had no clue what these new feelings where, but something about it exhilarated me, "I just want to learn more-"

Talking of Gen not a moment after fangirling over him I get a message from him. When the banner slid down his phone he jumped into a sitting position like a frog on his bed.

Gen- oi Senku-Chan you free tommorow

Senku-oh ig so why?

Gen- welllll I have some time off from work shit tomorrow, I know its probably rude of me to ask but can I stay round yours for the night <3

when I read this my mind went blank I had never really had friends over apart from Taju and Yuzuriha but that nearly never happens. I muster up my cordage to reply-

Senku- why not come over now that way we can have more time together ?

Gen- can we call for a sec ?

"what?" I whispered to myself. Either he was trying to deflect the question or I had upset him in some way, that's usually how it went with gen but I couldn't tell his tone he could be upset, angry, uncomfortable or just wanting to chat, I tend to overthink when I message people, well when I message Gen at least this was all so new to me-

Gens pov:

"WHAT!" when I saw he said that my heart raced I wouldn't be surprised if my lungs collapsed then and there! "UGHHH what was with my response I didn't actually want to call, god What if I stutter , What if he was put of by that. WHATS WRONG WITH MEEE;-;" I sobbed to myself in anger of my own stupidity. In reality I totally wanted to go there right the right there. I blanked out for a moment and was brought back by the sound of my ringtone.
