Yep. Where do I start? I guess it depends on what kind of friend stays at your house: the bestie, the one who forgets shit within a second, the one overly kind one, and the insensitive one.
The Bestie:
This is the person who you know that you will be BFF's and could be the one you live with. They are always considerate about what they say in front of your parents, about what they ask from you, and even how long they take on the shower. They spend the perfect amount of time on doing work- like homework-, hanging out with you, and having some alone time. They know the boundary between being polite and up staging you. And the most important part for me: they eat all the food they ask for!
The One Who Forgets Shit within a Second:
This is the friend who will ask you for something, but not use it for like next three days. All the while, you're just standing there thinking "Wat. Da. Fk." It's even more annoying when they bug you so much that you want to jump out a window. It's like "GIVE ME THIS!!!!!" And when you finally give it to them, they're all "Oh..... I don't need or want that. When did I ask you for that?" *SLAP*Frustration overload.
The Overly Kind One:
It is very ironic how the name of this friend gives the connotation that he/she will be the person who you and you'll parents will absolutely love and will have at your house all the time. Not. Remember that boundary that the Bestie mastered, yeah, the Overly Kind One doesn't even know what that boundary is. No matter how much you nudge them, they will not stop talking about how many amazing things they have accomplished. Every time they say what they've accomplished, your parents give that " why haven't you done that?" look.>:( Not to mention how this friend always asks if what they want to do is okay. That's not a bad thing, but when it's 24/7, it is bound to get at least slightly annoying.
Last but not least; The Insensitive One
Combine that person who does not give a single fuck about your well being ( and parents' money apparently), and combine him/her with the One Who Forgets Shit Within a Second, and you have this little piece of shit. Oh all the cursing, forgive me. Needless to say, after they stay at your house, you seriously question why you guys are friends. They WILL NOT shut up when you're trying to sleep, use their tablet at night, hit the snooze button on their damn alarm when you kindly told them to turn it off, eat one-fourth of their food then throw it away, and talk about inappropriate things in front of your parents. Okay, yes if you don't like the food a lot and it is a huge portion, I feel you. With that being said, if it is a freaking chicken leg or something, and you simply want a bucket of ice cream instead, it would be greatly appreciated if you ate that one piece of chicken. Plus, the fact that someone has the nerve to take a two hour shower at someone else's house, is shocking enough. Please tell me that I'm alone when I believe that it is very rude of someone only wanting to do what they want, and then bugging the other person if they don't get to do it. All the while, you're mentally screaming your head off. Joy.
Anyway, by the end of any multi day sleep over, I just want my own room and food back. Lovely Carson, just lovely.
