Chapter Six Flashback
-˚ʚ♡ɞ˚-
I STOOD OUTSIDE of Robin's room with my hands full of blankets and pillows. "Robby hurry up it almost 9pm!" I yell at him from behind his door. "Coming!" He yells and opens the door. He had more blankets and a few pillows. He smiled at me and we ran down the stairs and passed our fighting parents. We opened the basement door and ran down the stairs, shutting the door on the way down.
We threw all of the blankets and pillows together and started to push tables together. We layed the blankets on top of the tables and put some heavy book on it to make sure the blankets didn't fall. We throw in some of the extra blankets and pillows we set up our little beds and we lay down. "That was hard." I say and Robin laughed. "Vallie your just weak" Robin says and we both laugh. "I'm gonna go get some snacks." I say and walk out the fort. "Be careful!" Robin says as I run up the stairs.
I step out and it was silent. I guess my mom went to bed. I walked to the pantry and grabbed some snacks. Suddenly I got pulled back to the floor. I look up and saw my dad. "What do you think your doing?" He says and I start to tear up. "I'm getting snacks for me and Robby" I say and he furrows his eyebrows. "Who said you could eat?" He asks me and I gulp. "Well we were hungry daddy an-" I get cut off to a slap in the face. Tears run down my face and I take the snacks and run to the basement. I shut the door and run down the stairs and go into the fort.
"You okay?" Robin asks and I shake my head no. "What happened?" He asked as I cried. I hugged him and put my head on his shoulder. "Daddy hit me." I say and Robin sighs. "It's okay he can't hurt you when I'm here." He says and I calm down after a few minutes. We lay down in our makeshift beds.
"I love you Robby." I say and shut my eyes. "I love you too Vallie." He says back and we both fall asleep.

Robin and Valerie are so cutee. They were about 7-8 in this. 8/10/22.
