Chapter Two Flashback

VALERIE WOKE UP to jumping on her bed. "Wake up Vallie" I hear my brother Robin say and I groan. "What time is it?" I ask he laughs. "I don't know like 7 am?" He say and laughs. "Why do I have to get up?" I ask and sit up. "Because Finney is coming over!" He says and I just stare at him. "Why so early?" I ask he he smiles. "We're gonna go to the park!" He says and I groan.
He leaves my room and I get changed into one of Robin's t-shirts and jean shorts. I pulled my brown hair into a ponytail and put in some star dangling earrings. I walked downstairs and saw Robin and Finney eating cereal. "Let's go!" Robin says and drags Finney and I out the door. It was around 9 am when we made it to the park. While Finney and Robin sat in the swings, I sat on one of the park benches. A boy that looked my age came up to me and sat down.
"Hi!" He said and I looked at him. He had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. I was shyer then most kids so I kinda just sat there for a minute. "Hi" I say shyly and he smiles. "I'm Billy!" He says and holds out his hand. "I'm Valerie" I say and shake his hand. "Want to come play with me?" He asks and I smile. "Sure!" I say and we run up to the playground. We played for about two hours until I had to go.
"Vallie, Mom wants us home at 12, it's 11:30!" Robin says looking at his little watch on his wrist. I frown and look at Billy. "I have to go" I say and he frowns. "Come with me real quick" he says and I nod. We walk off the playset and back to the bench where he left his bag. He pulled out a Pen and grabbed my arm. He wrote down some numbers on my arm and smiled. "That's my house number! Call it when you want to play again." He says and I smile. "Bye Billy" I say and hug him. "Bye Vallie!" He says and I run off to Robin and Finney smiling.
"Ooo someone has a crush!" Robin says and I punch his shoulder. "Be quiet Robby!" I say and him and Finney laugh. "Vallie it's obvious." He says and I roll my eyes. "And you don't have a crush on Donna?" I say and he turns red. " I don't like her!" He says and I laugh. "Sure Finn whatever you say." I say and the three of us laughed.
