I walked towards the office. That's where Blossom wanted to have her meeting, and make bracelets.

When I arrived, Blossom was making a yellow and pink bracelet, humming a tune. She didn't notice me walk in. I had a genius idea.

I slowly crept towards her, her back facing me. With each tip-toe step I took, I held my breath and hoped I didn't ruin this. Once I could touch her, I poked her back and yelled.

"BOO!"

She jumped, almost throwing her bracelet.

"Oh my gosh Gloria! You scared the heck outta me!"

"Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Now, what are we doing?"

"Here, you finish this one while I start a new one."

I took the bracelet from Blossom. She walked over towards the bin and grabbed some string. She snipped it with some scissors and got out some beads. She made sure to only grab purple ones, and the occasional white ones.

I stared at the bracelet, wondering how I could finish it. Pink...Yellow...Aha!

I reached into the bin and grabbed a handful of blue beads and started to string them. Once I finished, I held it up towards Blossom.

"Aww that's so pretty!"

"Thanks. Uh, could I maybe...keep it?"

She thought for a second before smiling at me.

"Of course! Just make some more like that, I think they'll sell well."

"Okay."

I wrapped the bracelet around my wrists and tied it tightly. The beads reflected the lights coming from the ceiling. Perfect.

After a while, we had finished all the bracelets. They were of every color, pattern, and size.

"These will do perfectly! Thanks for all your help!"

Blossom started to pack them up when a thought crossed my mind. Something I needed her help with.

"Hey, since I helped you, could you help me?"

"Sure bestie. With what?"

I breathed in and out slowly. Although my mind was racing, I had to stay calm.

"I need your help talking to someone. I need to tell them something but..."

She wrapped her arm around my shoulder.

"I know it can be scary talking to people sometimes. Especially if it's important. So I'll definitely help you!"

"Really?"

"Of course!"

I smiled. Even though we were pretty different, I knew Blossom was a good person. And an even better friend.

I walked outside, Blossom close behind. I clenched my fists. Not in anger, but in fear. I had to tell her though. I couldn't just let this bottle up inside me. Besides, Zach told me I should. And he is my best friend.

We stopped just in front of Elli. She was making a daisy crown and was almost finished. She looked up and noticed us, smiling awkwardly. She laid the crown beside her softly and stood up.

"Hey Elli."

"Hey Gloria...What's up?"

"I just wanted to talk about...you know..."

"Oh yeah," She smiled awkwardly, "what about it?"

I took a deep breath in and out. Relaxing my hands, I unclenched my fists. Just breathe. It's okay. Just breathe.

"I just wanted to say that, I don't know if I want to date you. I would need to get to know you first, you know? I'm sorry, I just don't want to unless-"

"It's fine. I understand. I shouldn't have done that."

"It's okay." I smiled. "We all make mistakes right?"

"Yeah." She smiled back.

I extended my arms for a hug. She ran up and hugged me back. This hug was much different from our other one. She rested her head on my shoulder. I felt something in my chest, I don't know what it was. I think I was happy? I don't really know...

Blossom suddenly broke the silence.

"Well, I'm glad that's settled!"

We jumped apart. Elli slipped a strand of blue hair behind her ear and giggled shyly. I rubbed my hands together, not knowing what to do.

Since it was recess anyway, we walked towards our usual tree and sat down. When Elli wasn't looking, I leaned close to Blossom and whispered to her.

"Thanks."

"No problem! Anyways, is that "what happened" in Art?"

"Yeah..."

"Cool."

Elli looked up.

"Oh wait! I forgot my daisy crown! Be right back."

I watched her run off, back towards the wall of the school where she had been sitting. She bent down and picked it up gently. She skipped back towards us. She sat down beside me, maybe a little too close. But I didn't mind.
