I knocked on the door, and Yuna was quick to open it. It was like she was standing right at the door.

"Kai!" She said very excitedly.

"What's got you in a good mood?"

"I'm just confident. Come on. We have work to do!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me inside.

This is my second visit, and each time I come, the house appears depressing. There are a lot of frames on the wall, but they're all photos of Yuna and her parents.

"I didn't realize you were the only child."

Yuna gave an awkward laugh. "Yeah, I think that's why I'm so awkward all the time."

"You're lucky. I have two annoying sisters."

"Yeah, your family is popular in the school."

"Really. I didn't know?"

"Yeah, most guys have feelings for your sisters."

I made a disgusted face. "Gross."

"Hey, lots of girls in our grade have crushes on you too. They think you look like an American model." Yuna smiled. "I agree. You're very model material."

I could feel my face heat up a bit. "Uh, let's start cooking." I quickly changed the topic.

"Okay. My mom brought me all the ingredients, and I studied the recipe you sent me." Yuna led me toward her kitchen. She had pans and plates all set up. "I hate to admit it, but my mom pre-cooked the rice."

"I thought you wanted to make everything yourself."

"I did, but my mom says rice is important. I don't want to mess up, so I ask her to do it for me. I want it to be perfect."

"Well, this is why we're just practicing for next week."

"Next week?!" Yuna's eyes widen. Her eyes were already big, but they were ready to pop out of her head.

I nodded, "You're confessing next week."

"When did I agree to that?"

"You didn't, but you need a deadline. Yeonjun will be graduating at the end of the semester. That's not as much time as you think it is."
