Chaoter Seventeen: Secret Santa

Fitz's POV:
      Today was Christmas and it was great but the most exciting part of the day was Secret Santa. Everyone was coming over right now. It was going to be me, Sophie, Biana, Dex, Keefe, Tam, Linh, and Marella.

        This was the chance I needed to get Sophie back. I had gotten Sophie when we picked names back at the start of December when we were still dating. I had been excited to get her and I picked out the best present for her. It was 2 bracelets both gold one with a heart on it.

          Sophie walked in talking to Dex and Keefe who she had driven with. I smiled as I saw her. She looked pretty as always. Why did I cheat on her? I was insane. I hated myself for doing that but I needed to forget about it. Today, I would win her back.

        I walked over to them. "Hey, Soph!" I said.

         "Hi," she said back quietly waving. She looked down and then at Keefe who reached out his hand. Why was he holding his hand out to her? She grabbed it. Why did she take his hand? He pulled her over to the couch and they sat down. Why did she sit down with him? We're they actually dating now? I knew I had said they were dating to her but that was to make them feel bad and mostly to make him feel bad for not defending me.

        "Hi guys!" Biana squealed running up to Linh and Tam who had just walked in. Linh handed her bag to Tam as Biana hugged her before moving to Tam who just dropped the bags on the floor. I wondered if I was imagining things but it seemed like she hugged Tam for longer than she hugged Linh.

Bianas POV:
       As Tam and Linh walked in, I ran up and hugged them starting with Linh. I wanted to just hug Tam but that would look a little suspicious. I had the hugest crush on Tam and no one knew. I suspected he liked me too but I always thought guys liked me. Then again, they usually did.

       As I stepped away, Tam looked me right in the eye. I smiled and tossed my hair behind my shoulder. "Come on in guys!" I said.

        We had arranged four couches in our living room into a little square. I sat on the right of one of them. Tam sat next to me, his sister on his left. Sophie was sitting across from us with Keefe on her left and Dex on her right. Fitz sat on the couch that was closest to Sophie and Marella ended up sitting next to him. All the bags were in the middle with printed tags with the persons name on them.

Keefes POV:
      We all grabbed the bags that had our names on them from the center of the room. What we were going to do was take turns opening the presents and then writing down who we thought got it for us. Then at the end it would be revealed who got who their present.

      Linh went first. She had gotten a big stuffed panda which was her favorite animal. She guessed Sophie which was probably right.

     Then it was Tams turn. He got a black journal with a lock and keys. Inside was a note. "To write all of those feelings that I know you have inside," he read. "I bet this was Linh."

     Then Marella went. She got a little box. When she opened it she found a package for hair tinsel and feathers. She guessed Biana.

      Then Biana went. She got a necklace with a purple flower on it. She guessed Sophie.

      Then Fitz went. He had gotten a little dragon stuffed animal and guessed that it was from me as a joke. He may or may not have been right.

       Then Dex went. He had gotten a book about technology and how a bunch of technology was made. He guessed Sophie.

       Then it was Sophie's turn. She got a super pretty bracelet it had a heart on it. She flushed red and looked right at Fitz. She wrote his name down on the paper and then put the bracelets on.

       Finally, it was my turn. I opened the bag and found a Batman shirt. I looked at Sophie who looked back at me for a second before continuing to look at the bracelets she had just gotten. I knew it was Sophie who got me it. I had pointed it out to her at the store yesterday and she says she got it for Grady. Liar. I wrote her name down.

     After everyone shared who they thought had gotten them, we started announcing. Surprisingly, Biana had been the one to get Tam his journal. Sophie was right about Fitz getting her the bracelets but I wondered what was so special about them. She kept staring at either the bracelets or Fitz. After we had lots of Dellas-Fitz's moms- Christmas cookies, we went home.

        When we got back home, I asked Sophie to come over to my porch so I could give her something. I had gotten her a gift.

        When we got to my porch, I pulled out a little box. She opened it and found a necklace. I had gotten her a butterfly necklace. Butterflies were her second favorite animals (even though they weren't really animals). I would have gotten her her favorite animal but it's hard to find cute elephant necklaces.

      She eyes widened as she saw it. "Omigod Keefe its gorgeous," she said. I took it from her hand and turned her head, putting the necklace on her.

      As she turned back to me, I smiled. It looked beautiful on her. "It looks great," I smirked trying not to seem too different from usual.

       She smiled back. Then she put her arms around her and shivered. It was cold out. I raised my eyebrows and smirked again. "Cold?" I asked. She shook her head but kept shivering. I laughed and took my sweatshirt off handing it to her. She tried to protest but I told her I wanted to change into the Batman shirt anyway.

        I took off my shirt and changed into the shirt. "Admiring me?" I asked as Sophie stared at where I had been shirtless just seconds before. She flushed red.

      "No!" She said, "I should go in, here I'll give you back your sweatshirt!" She started to take it off.

     "Foster, calm down. Keep it for now," I said.

      "But-"

       "See ya around Foster!" I called, walking into the house.

       At this point I was doing everything but explicitly telling her I liked her... and I don't think she was getting it.
