Chapter Five: Lunch

Sophie's POV:
       As I walked into the lunch room, I looked around for someone to sit with. There were some people who looked nice but the only people at this school that I had ever talked to were Fitz and Keefe.

      After walking around for a bit, I saw a girl motioning for me to come over. "Um, would you want to sit with us?" A shy looking girl with Black hair with silver tips said, "you look lonely."

     I smiled, "sure!"

     The girl smiled back. "I'm Linh and this is my twin brother Tam."

     Tam waved at me.

     "I'm Marella," the other girl at the table said. She had blonde hair with braids and was really pretty. "You're the girl who's getting adopted by the Ruewens, right? That's kinda weird. They used to be like, kinda famous until their daughter died. Then the dropped off the face of the earth. Never thought they'd adopt someone," Marella said.

    After a bit, lunch was over and Keefe was walking over to her, followed by Fitz and some girl he was dragging.

    "This is my sister Biana," Fitz said, "my dad thinks you'd be good friends!"

    The girl rolled her eyes. "Hi," she said, "you're friends with Tam?"

     "Kinda," I said.

      Her eyes lit up. "I'll have to come sit with you some time!" She looked around and then whispered, "he's pretty cute."

     "I thought you liked-" Fitz started to say but Biana kicked him.

     "I should get to class," she said, "bye!"

       "Wow, Foster," Keefe said, "it seems everyone likes you!" I smiled. I doubt it.

        "Hey Sophie, we're having a party at our house tonight, you wanna come?" Fitz said, flashing a charming smile. A very charming smile.

     I smiled back. "Sure, when is it?"

      After he gave me all the details, and his phone number, we went our separate ways to our classes.

Sorry for the short chapters I've been doing. I'm going to try and make the chapter for the party longer and there's only gonna be one more chapter before that btw.
