Just a Piece of Advice

It's been a little over a year since the war with the white star is over; almost a total of twelve months since Kim stays in this parallel world; and on that note, It's almost the first engagement anniversary for the Heroes couple, Choi Han and Cale Henituse, or one that the world still more to be known as the masked hero, Moonlight, instead.

Not that many would have known about this minor detail, for neither of the couples wished to publicity their relationship past the fact that they are in a confidential yet strong relationship.

Well, either way, that black-haired swordmaster is actually facing quite a crisis right now.

'asdfghjkl– It's been 3 hours! Why can't I find anything!? I thought the capital's market should have EVERYTHING???"

Yes.

You read it right.

The cold hero who wouldn't bat an eye to slash his enemies in half is currently panicking over the fact that he couldn't find the perfect present to be gifted to his workaholic fiance even after almost literally scavenging even the inauspiciously dark corners of the black market.

Choi Han has seen hundreds of beautiful gems, has checked over thousands of incredible mana devices, and has visited even more floral shops all over the two continents along with one of his adoptive sons, Raon.

All of that, yet still, he couldn't find something that he could picture his lover would love and keep for the rest of their lives— Because, you know, Choi Han doesn't want to just impress, he wants their anniversary to be memorable.

Which, as much as he forced the gears on his brain to turn, that swordmaster was forced to admit that he couldn't think of something that would top his marriage proposal to the crimson-haired hero.

—While being frustrated and nearly flipping this place and the innocent citizens around it, Choi Han pulled his hood lower to not be recognized by others before then going to a random Alley so he could go back to the villa with the young dragon.

"Why are we heading back again, Choi Han? I thought you're going to buy those ruby earrings you've been eyeing?"

The cute voice of Raon immediately filled his hearing once they arrived back home and the younger took off his invisibility.

"Ah, no. I changed my mind."

With a sigh, Choi Han answered the curious black dragon who landed in between his sister and brother that has been waiting for the two's return.

"I suppose another fail, huh?"

A snicker.

Choi Han couldn't decide if he wants to punch that grinning face that's eerily similar to his own lover or not. But seeing that he couldn't make a commotion, especially not with his fiance's guest, that swordmaster pulls back his punches from the back of his mind and simply said.

"Piss off, Kim"

Kim, a.k.a Kim Rok Soo, who transmigrated and later lived his life as Cale Henituse of The Earth 27, only to be locked up and caged by his so-called family before he then got rescued by The First Cale and brought here to Earth 7 to help Og!Cale of this world with the war aftermath— Ahem. So, Yes, Kim. That punk didn't cease his snicker and in fact, has an even clearer reaction with a small chuckle on the side.

"Tomorrow is the big day, isn't it? Why don't you just follow our advice, hmm? You know that your lover would accept anything as long it came from you, right?"

"Well, that's the problem!"

Having seen the children flinch from his loud noise, Choi Han apologized for the sudden rise of his voice.

"I don't want it to just be anything. I want it to be special– the most special."

But Choi Han has never been in a serious relationship before. He never got to experiment on being romantic to anyone before his beloved Cale. So now, this innocent yet not-so-innocent swordmaster is at loss.

"I want Jagiya to cherish and keep my gift forever and ever."

Now, as much as that sentence sounded cheesy and cringe as if it came out from TV dramas, or even worse, said by middle school brats in love, Kim doesn't want to somehow end up being a Kimbab by accident from offending the swordmaster any further.

In addition to that, he actually pities the black-haired man in a way.

Kim might have never been in love with someone before, but he knows how shitty it felt to disappoint someone who truly cares for you. Therefore, sitting next to the frustrated male, Kim called out carefully.

"Hey."

Once he heard the other hum as a sign that he's listening despite not looking in his way, Kim continued on his words.

"I do... have one idea. But I don't know if you'd be comfortable pulling it off, because, well, I never saw you going that far?"

Well, that actually intrigues Choi Han.

Kim has pretty much walked in on him and Cale making out sometimes— They got scolded for it, especially if they did it in the public space and the kids could have walked on them.

So, the fact that this Kim says that there's actually more that he could do, perked his curiosity, enough that he subconsciously leans in when he asked.

"What is it?"

Almost demanding, Kim made a face but did not comment much, and instead, ushered the kids to go away and check on Cale who's currently working with Alver under the pretext that they need to keep the other redhead busy while he lay out the plans to Choi Han.

Thankfully, On, being the smart girl that she is, realized that whatever is being said is something that the three of them were not supposed to hear either way and that Kim would definitely make up a story to fulfill the promise of telling them what they missed.

All in all, a couple of seconds passed after the three were out of his vision, Kim flinched hard when he heard the slamming sound of the table coming from the impatient punk, that is Choi Han.

"Now, tell me"

Kim really wanted to heave a sigh right there and then, and probably shakes his head too. But he holds back all of the urges and just replied calmly to the heated swordmaster.

"Yes yes, my goodness. I'll tell you."

And thus, the two began to conspire on the perfect plan for the two Heroes' engagement anniversary...

Well, let's just say, Kim was somewhat right in implying that the swordmaster might not yet be ready for this plan.
