"Oh ignorant boy you have opened your eyes, the veil has been lifted. Now don't allow yourself to be lost, for I do not will it so."

.Izuku returned back to consciousness with a gasp for air as he clenched onto the hospital bed, he panted as the world was still completely silent but his right hand still had that symbol on it, was it a dream or real? What even were those symbols, they must've meant something. He just pondered on these thoughts for a moment before he heard something, he didn't know what it was but he knew he heard it.
He walked over to the window and looked out seeing the same boring old Japan going about its day to day routine, in his sudden shift of perception of the world recently he found everything so...pitiful. Everyone in the world felt so hung up over these quirks that they would cannibalize each other over the mere thought that they could stand over someone else in ranking, he couldn't help but simply laugh over this idea. He had so badly obsessed over being one of those many selfish cannabilistic animals out there, one of the filthy sharks lurking in open water awaiting its prey. He was more than a hero, he was more than any sort of super powered commoner, he was special and he knew it. Something greater had spoken to him! It communicated with him! IT WANTED HIM! IT NEEDED HIM! HE OPENED HIS EYES!

.When Inko entered her son's new relocated hospital room she felt the tears still welling up in her eyes, something hardly happened to her son and she didn't know what it was. He just suddenly became a different boy, was this her fault? Was she responsible for hurting her son and breaking him down? She couldn't ponder on these thoughts any longer as she saw her son standing up looking outside at the city, despite him being deaf he seemed to notice her. He called out to her, "Mom...you don't believe me do you. I can tell you think I'm crazy..."
She froze up as his words sunk into her mind, she hated the idea of facing it but she had found herself doubting her son. She didn't understand what he was going through and truly thought this was all some bad mental break for him, "That hurts a lot mom...you don't believe me that I saw it...it was beautiful mom...how sad you can't open your eyes..."
She felt needles going down her spine as the color drained from her face, that didn't even sound like her son. Izuku never talked like that, he'd never sounded so disconnected before, this just didn't seem like her son. She slowly walked over to him but suddenly he slammed his head into the window, she jumped and ran over trying to hold her son but amidst her screams she felt something distinctly warm and wet hit her in the face and mouth.
She backed up and coughed spitting out blood from her mouth, she trembled as she looked at her son seeing how he held his face. She just quickly made her way out of the room running to the nearest bathroom, she went to the sink and just sort of stared at her reflection in shock as she saw the blood her son spit onto her. Something seemed wrong with his blood, it felt abnormally warm and when she observed it closer it seemed to be darker than normal blood. She just quickly washed it off her face and mouth before slowly falling to tears, what happened to her baby boy? What happened to her little Izuku?

.Katsuki also pondered on these thoughts feeling odd but intense surges of anxiety and regret, he knew he caused this. He had been such an asshole for so long that he figured he just emotionally broke down Deku, he sat in class sort of wondering what had happened with him since late the previous night his mother said something about him deafening himself. It was all so weird and sudden to him but he knew this all stemmed from him, it was hard to focus throughout class with his mind often wandering to Deku.
The hours slowly crept on and eventually the day finally concluded for him, he grabbed his belongings and started to walk home when his mother called and explained that Auntie Inko was staying over for a bit and she was under a bad fever. He picked up some soup his mother ordered and on his way home he felt a fleeting rush of freezing cold air brush through his hair and across his face
"Katsuki."
He jumped as he turned around looking around frantically as he heard that voice right in his ear, it sounded like his mother but it also sounded nothing like her. He was concerned and confused as he let off small sparks within his palms trying to intimidate something that didn't even exist...or did it?

.Mitsuki was more than willing to help watch over Inko but something seemed so off with her friend, yes she understood her stress with Izuku but there was something more. She seemed very detached from others and was starting into space a lot of the time, her fever was high and it truthfully creeped her out a lot the way things were playing out.
During her thoughts she failed to notice her friend hold her eyes but what did get her attention was Inko letting out an agonized scream as she held her face, she was caught completely off guard by this and sort of nervously backed up before she rushed to get her friend some medicine but that's when she said something that somewhat shook her.
"We need to go talk to Izuku...I....I think something has taken him hostage."
"Inko come on dear be sensible-"
"NO BECAUSE THAT ISNT MY BOY! SOMETHING IS DOING THIS TO HIM!"
That's when her friend melted down into tears and incoherent sobs, over this period she'd never figured to check on her friends mental wellbeing. This all must've been taking a toll on her, she just stayed silent as she allowed her friend time to grieve these sudden events.
She couldn't even imagine how she'd feel if this all started to her son.
