Restless. Izuku was restless as he sat alone in bed staring out the window feeling the time pass by in his solitude, he'd seen a few doctors but they didn't seem to check up on him much. He looked down upon the city, it remained unchanging but why? If these quirks were all so great the why was everyone still stuck in this silly back and forth fight with heroes and villains? He found something greater than any quirk and he needed to see this through because he now had a much more important purpose. He had glorious undeniable purpose now, he'd seen something nobody else had and he needed to explore that further no matter what.

He just silently watched how heroes went about their day to day schedule while slowly falling into his thoughts, he had begun to decode the symbols on his arm and was only just managing a few symbols. However as he pondered in his mind he felt his attention get stolen hearing some tapping at the window, he looked outside and once again he was staring in at that beings empty and hollow skull.

"Oh you've returned to me, I was starting to miss you.."

It observed him curiously as it signaled to its arm, upon inspection of his arm he saw the symbols that had appeared on his arm the previous nights had changed. So this is how it is huh? He would have to just figure it out himself, before he could dedicate any time to decoding its text however his mother and Mitsuki entered the room.

He just sighed as he looked over at them seeing they were talking about something, he returned to his bed and waited for a minute watching as his mother wrote something on a piece of paper. After he silently watched she turned it revealing her note to him,

"Izuku the doctors are trying to figure out what's going on with you, they did blood tests and something is wrong with your blood. They aren't sure what it is but they're working hard."

....She thought he was sick? He wasn't sick! He was fine! He was more than fine! HE'D NEVER FELT BETTER! HE WAS FINE THEY ALL JUST ASSUMED HE WAS CRAZY! JUST BECAUSE HE WAS QUIRKLESS THEY THOUGHT HE WAS MAD!?

"...I'm fine mom, I just want to go home...let me go home."

She flipped the page and continued to write, in the silence he heard the tapping at the window but oddly his mother seemed to react. She turned to the window confused but swiftly returned to writing, what was that? He saw outside it held onto the hospital staring at him, it's gaze seeped into his mind as he felt its claws of influence digging itself into his mind.

He just stared back at the creature silently as in his head he saw those symbols, they h
ad engraved themselves into his arm so clearly he was intended to read it. But he couldn't do such a thing, he couldn't comprehend what the symbols meant but he had to know. His thoughts ran wild as his skin went cold, he burned with curiosity and melted with obsession. His thoughts screamed for knowledge and understanding, however these thoughts were halted when he felt his mother tap his leg.

"Izuku you have to stay here for now, it hurts me trust me but you have to stay. You're sick Izuku, you haven't been yourself ever since you got here."

She....She really thought he was sick? Through all that mania and obsession he felt his heart break, his mother thought he was sick. His own mother wouldn't believe him and that realization hurt him, his entire life he lived with false hopes but did his best and this was how he was repayed?! HE WAS CALLED SICK!? HE WASNT SICK! SHE WAS A LIAR!
