It was a few days before the wedding, and Tsukiko joined Sakura, Hinata, Ino and Tenten by the Amaguriama place in order to have some tea and sweets together. It also allowed both Tsukiko and Hinata to relax, given that they were busy with preparing for the upcoming wedding non-stop.
"And? And?" Sakura asked with interest and excitement as she looked toward the Hyuga Princess. "Are all the preparations for the reception finished?"
"Yes, most of it," Hinata replied with a small smile.
"It was obvious that Tsukiko would marry first, given how smitten she and Gaara were," Ino spoke up. "But I'm so surprised that the next in our group to get married are Hinata and Naruto!"
"Tsukiko always hopped around the idea of marriage and now look how they're always in the honeymoon period," Sakura teased and Tsukiko just smiled.
"I'm sure Hinata and Naruto will get to experience that sort of love, too," Tsukiko replied fairly.
"On the mention of that, how is Naruto lately?" Tenten asked.
"Is he helping you at all?" Sakura inquired.
"Of course, both Naruto-Kun and Tsukiko-Chan!" Hinata replied. "More than Naruto-Kun, it's my father who keeps telling me what I should do. It's true about the father of the bride being a pain,"
"I guess planning a wedding is a huge task," Ino acknowledged. "Even with having someone experienced like Tsukiko, you two have been really busy!"
"Of course, it is!" Sakura replied. "Even with us... Kakashi Sensei gave us that..."
"Ah!" Ino exclaimed, pointing to the sky above before grabbing Sakura by the collar. "Hey, Sakura!"
"What's the big idea –!" Sakura began but cut herself off before pointing to the sky as well, realising what she was about to speak. "Oh!"
"You two are strange as always," Tsukiko muttered, sweat-dropping.
"What about Kakashi Sensei?" Hinata asked curiously.
"Don't tell me Kakashi Sensei is getting in further trouble," Tsukiko said, trying to give time to the stammering Sakura and Ino to make an excuse for the Hyuga Girl.
"Er... um..." Sakura said before getting into the flow. "No, he isn't! He's just going through a lot trying to wrap up all the missions before the wedding. That's all,"
"Yeah!" Tenten pitched in. "And unlike us, you already have Naruto, so you're lucky,"
"That's all," Ino finished. "Yeah, that's right!"
"Well, I guess so," Hinata replied, giving an uncertain smile.
"So? So?" Tenten asked. "Are you going to wear a kimono?"
"You're gonna look so pretty as a bride!" Sakura added.
"Yeah, yeah!" agreed Ino.
After they had finished with their tea, Tsukiko and Hinata bid their goodbye to the other three girls before walking off together so that they could return to their work for the day. They had been walking through the market when the two of them ran into Hinata's teammates.
"Hey, Hinata and Tsukiko!" called out Kiba as he and Shino walked toward them, and Akamaru ran ahead of them to get pets from the two girls. "Long time, no see!"
"It's certainly been a while," Tsukiko commented as the boys reached them. "You guys no longer come visit me after I've gotten married,"
"Can't have the Kazekage getting jealous," Kiba replied, and Tsukiko shook her head at him. "Just kidding, have you and Hinata been doing all right with the preparation?"
