I couldn't stop thinking about what Leo had called me, I thought about it so much I forgot what he even called me. It sounded like something in Japanese, but I couldn't quite put a cap on it.

So, I resorted to distracting myself, instead of mulling over it and pulling up a translator. I had prepared a good amount of popcorn, ice cream and finally, Space Heroes to watch. Plus, a little frozen pizza since I didn't have dinner. It was nice, all the lights off, the place to me and only me, it still was weird though.

My dad was in Japan, for whatever reason.

That reminded me, I paused the show and bolted up the stairs, going into my parent's room. After my mom's passing, we had made a little box of all her cop stuff. That included the USB with the case information on it. She was sacred with it, I just hoped it didn't have any sort of password. Either way Donnie would probably be fine getting into it. I wanted to know what she was so motivated for.

I shuffled through the thick paper files and a lot of other miscellaneous items, finally, recovering it at the bottom.

"Aha!" I proudly exclaimed as I presented it. It was red, a shiny scarlet color.

My proudness was interrupted by a knocking, and goosebumps rose on my skin. Leo was out at patrol, he wouldn't come, although I wanted him to. He seemed sure we wouldn't see each other again tonight.

I crept into my bedroom, putting the USB in my pocket and looking at the window. Immediately I turned the light on and opened it.

"Is everything alright?" I asked, panicked. All of them were there. Leo, Raph, Mikey, Casey, and Donnie, carrying April in his arms. They looked badly bruised; cuts painted across their being. "Come in," I ushered.

I turned the lights on in the whole apartment and led them to the kitchen, cleaning my mess up by the couch and letting Donnie sit April down in its place. No one said a word, they all looked upset.

"Let me the First-Aid-Kit," I mumbled.

Raph leaned against the counter, Mikey on the couch next to Donnie. Donnie next to April, April's sound asleep body next to Casey's on the other end. Then Leo, who had been following me around, he helped me get the First Aid-Kit from the pantry.

"April passed out, we got ambushed by the foot," Leo finally explained.

"She's badly sick, her temperature is extremely high," Don added.

"Was it the Shredder?" I asked.

"No, Karai said he was in Japan finishing business," Raph answered.

"Karai?" I questioned. It was a new name.

"She is his daughter, she came with the foot to try and take us out," Leo responded.

"Dude, what could he be doing in Japan?" Mikey asked.

I put the First Aid-Kit on the counter and started rummaging through it, laying out Band-Aids, different balms, pain killers, general essentials. Each of them came forward and took what they needed.

"He came from there, remember Mikey, he could be there for anything," Leo said, struggling to tape up his hand. I went over and took the tape from his hand, silently touching it up.

"How did we get beat so bad?" Raph grunted, ripping off a piece of the tape for himself with his teeth, and applying it to his leg.

"Well, we didn't start out well, once April passed out, we all were caught off guard," Don sighed.

"She did not have allergies," Casey rolled his eyes.

"Didn't sound like it," I frowned. "Does splinter know? Why didn't you go back to the lair?"
