There was precision in each of Leo's movements, sensing his opponents before they came. He cut through foot-soldiers like a dancer, rehearsed but unpredictable. The Katana had become an extension of his arm, switching his grip without thinking or dropping the weapon. Raph, Mikey, and Casey followed in suit with him, controlled and concise. Nothing was going to stop him, he had Shredder right where he wanted.

It was so easy.

Too easy.

The leaders T-Phone began to vibrate against his shell, ringing in his belt as he slipped it out and picked up. An odd feeling overcame him, knowing no one would call unless necessary.

"Did (Y/N) regroup with you all after using up all her detonators?" Donnie's voice could be heard across the line.

"No, I assumed she would stay with you," Leo answered sternly.

"She's not, we can't find her," Donnie said. "She isn't answering her phone either."

Out of the corner of his eye, Leo saw Shredder perk up to the news, turning his head to the sound of blue masked turtle while he fought the red one.

"Stay here!" Leo ordered everyone as he jumped over the crowd of fighting and scaled one of the apartments. He landed silently on the other side where the docks were located, seeing Donnie and April nervously pacing.

"I'm tracking her location, she might just be lost," Don assured.

"She's not, Shredder is planning something."

"It says she's down this way," Donnie pointed.

The three began running through the maze of shipments, as the purple turtle called out which way to go.

"(Y/N)?!" April yelled.

"(Y/N)! Where are you?!" Leo shouted even louder.

His heart was racing, he couldn't sense her, but he knew someone else was here. She was overshadowing his Girlfriends presence, as a bright light appeared from around the corner.

The leader unsheathed his tanto blade directly towards her as soon as he turned the corner, but it was far too late.

He saw Kitsunes backside, as (Y/N) fell into her arms, her eyes fully yellow. It was only for a moment, before the two turned into thin air, and Kitsune vanished with her magic. Both of them gone, his tanto cutting deep into one of the crates that stood behind the two previously.

Leo's heart was racing.

He could feel everything and nothing all at once.

"Fall back," Shredder ordered from the other side.

He overpowered Raph as they interlocked blades and shoved him back, distributing smoke bombs across the concrete grounds. The Foot were gone within an instant, and the three boys eyed each other in confusion.

"She's gone, they took her," Leo said, dropping to his knees. He felt April and Donnie's presence behind him. "This was all a set up."

"Who took her?" Donnie knelt next to his brother.

"The foot."

He knew it as soon as she mentioned the bad dreams. How he always sensed this weird presence when she first woke up, slowly becoming more and more unsettled as the weeks went on. It wasn't just her parents, but he hoped it was.

It's what he experienced when he was brainwashed.

He went to Master Splinter about it, vaguely discussing these visions and dreams he had been having. He never mentioned the full extent of it because there was always this voice in the back of his head telling him not to. It was manipulating him into feeling like the world was against him, provoking powerful emotions and anger, slowly pulling him away from his family. He believed it like it was his gut telling him what to do.
