I gathered up anyone willing to follow me to Akanthas hideout. Andy had been keeping me updated about it all morning while I went around asking everyone in our territory if they were ready to finish this.

We were riding out with maybe fifteen or so vehicles, men and women had been willing to join me.

We drove through the city and towards the road that Alaska and I had taken when we came back. There was no guard at the fence this time.

We drove in my truck in the lead. I could feel my nerves raising as a big mansion came into view.

"There it is," Elija whispered.

"Right." I nodded, Id spent most of the trip planning what to do. As my truck lurched to a stop Andy came sprinting out of the bushes.

I climbed out, and everyone followed. I gave each person a nod, making sure to look at each person with respect.

I walked towards the mansion, a megaphone in hand.

"Akantha, I know you are in there." I paused. "You destroyed many people's homes, so know I am here to destroy yours and to put an end to your rule. I came to avenge all that have died at your hands."

A couple of people behind me shouted in agreement.

"Come out and fight me!"

I waited a few moments, a glass window shattered and a woman's body fell to the ground.

I would have to see who later, I had to focus on Akantha.

"Come on out coward!" I cried out.

The front door opened, and a large black wolf stepped out making the sunlight disappear.

I handed the megaphone to Peter then I took a step forward, shifting to my wolf as I did.

Akantha stood her place, none of her pack came out behind her.

"Where is the rest of your pack?" I snarled.

"Does it matter?" She growled, "When I'm about to kill you in front of all these rouges you brought with you."

"They aren't rouges anymore." I barked. "They are, and will always be protected by the Red Wolf and White wolf packs."

"The white wolf pack is extinct except you, and I killed the last of the red." She taunted.

"Freddrick Red still lives."

"No." Akantha slipped a hint of confusion.

"Not every alpha or leader is like you," I growled again. "Some of us show mercy, Angie banned her brother, but he lives with his mate."

I lunged at her, we met paws striking each other and teeth clashing against each other. Akatha rolled herself away, snarling.

"The mighty white wolf, and are you going to show me mercy?"

"No. If I could I would have a long time ago."

This time she lunged, I ducked and rolled snapping at every inch of skin and fur I could. As she landed just behind me I went for her back leg. As I bit down I could feel my teeth break the skin, and then the crunching and cracking of bone as her back leg broke. Akantha let out a howl of pain.

"Your weak." I taunted. "And frail, and I'm going to kill you, but I will show your pack mercy.

Akantha limping on her back didn't stop to talk, her attacks were ruthless. However, the limp made her slower, and easier to dodge.

I'd been so focused on Akatha that I hadn't noticed her pack slowly emerging from the house, but they weren't attacking

I lunged for Akanthas back, I bit ripping fur. She managed to take a chunk from me, but I knocked her away, then jumped, pinning her to the ground snarling. I took a fatal bite as she tried to get out from under me, I held my grip till she stopped fighting and her chest stopped rising up and down.

I transform back into my human form, standing above the black wolf.

Everyone surrounding us was silent. I turned to face Akanthas pack.

"Akantha is dead, I'm giving you the choice to leave her ways behind you to start a new world, or be banned to live on the edge of the world."

Every single person in her pack bowed their heads low. I could hear a couple of people murmur thank yous. I noticed that none of the faces I saw were her mates.

"Where are her mates?" I asked looking at one of the women closest to me.

"Dead." Someone from the back shouted. "They killed themselves just after her."

I nodded. "Thank you."

After we cleaned up the two bodies, everyone headed home.

Once I arrived home the first thing I did was find Cassie (she was still in the living room with Echo).

I got down on one knee, "Cassie, will you marry me?"

"Yes." Cassie nodded her head, tears of joy running down her cheeks. "Of course, I'll marry you."

I stood up wrapping my arms tightly around her.

"We won." I said smiling, "I avenged them. Now the rebuilding of the world can begin."

I let go of Cass and went to Echo. "I'm going to help you through this dad. We need you, and one day your grandbabies will need you."
