Surprises of Life

With her body feeling as if it was beaten up, Lea woke up with a kiss on her forehead as the streak of the sunlight hit directly on her left eye.

She pulled the comforter down until her chest. She was all naked underneath whilst her handsome husband has already taken a bath.

She didn't even notice what time they finished the day prior. All that she can remember was that she fell asleep while the both of them were cuddling.

"Wakey-wakey, PIM. Elli's looking for you na. She knocked early this morning since she didn't see you last night daw. She prepared a breakfast for you but I didn't wake you up because I know you're tired. But it's getting late already, so... good morning, wife." He placed another peck on her forehead as he brushed her hair. Lea yawned as she sat down, hugging the thick blanket over her body as she leaned on Aga's shoulder, earning an embrace for him.

"As much as I want to stay in bed with you, but I need to go somewhere today. I'll make bawi later, PIM." Lea pouted at him as she shook her head. Aga chuckled as he tucked her hair.

"I prepared a hot bath for you na, then clothes if you want to wear it. I'll go ahead, okay? I'll update you if I get there. My kiss?" He plummed his lips, waiting for it to meet hers.

"No kisses." She covered her mouth.

"Come on, I can't leave without those." He insisted as if it was a supplement that keeps him alive.

"Then stay." She was like a child having tantrums.

"I really can't. I also didn't expect the call, but we're only called once in a blue moon so I really need to go." Lea just sighed as she finally gave him what he's asking for.

"Take care, okay?" Aga nodded as he stood up.

"I will. I have you and Elli waiting for me. I love you!" He gave a flying kiss as the door close, leaving Lea in a quiet room as she laid down again.

A smile suddenly rose as she remembered their hot moments. She couldn't help but be amazed because honestly, she never thought she could be like that wild, too.

Lea hummed as she stood up and marched to the bathroom to prepare herself for another day of searching. She's back to reality. Hoping for progress with searching a needle in a haystack.

1 month later...

Lea stared at her phone as she read the message again and again. She didn't know how to react. Her heart was swelling, in joy for the long search has been almost ended, in pain for she don't know how her child would react once she shows herself as their mother.

She was bothered, but the ecstacy overpowered it. Her phone then rang which without any doubt, she picked up. Anytime, she can get a call regarding the identity of her child and couldn't be more excited. Apprehensive, yes, but she's wanting to prioritize meeting and knowing her child first.

After the call ended, without any words, she ran to pick up her keys and drove to the redezvous. While she was walking from the parking lot to the private place, a familiar ring tone perpetrated. She answered it as she heard Elli's voice.

"Hi, nanay!" Said by the small voice.

"Hey there, what's with the sudden call?" She softly questioned the child.

"Nothing, I just wanted to ask where you are po?"

"I'm just running some errands, why?" Lea stopped as she waiting for the door to be opened.
