3rd person's POV

Xiu was sitting because she is trying to sew a scarf for the first time. She was so bored and saw some of Hyunjin's Mom's sewing set. She was shock when she heard her phone rang all of a sudden.

Felix calling...

[Xiu.]

"Where are you? Your Dad is looking for you. You should go home. He is so worried."

[I can't face him.]

"Felix, I understand you're mad. But please you should go home. Let is pass tonight. Take a rest and think tomorrow. You are upset now, that's why you don't want to see him. Okay, don't talk to him but you have to go home."

[My Dad is not worried. He is scared that he might lose his only son that will take over that stupid company.]

"Felix, go home."

[I need you... Can you come out here?]

Xiu was shock. She hurriedly looked at the window and saw Felix leaning on the car with his eyes closed and the phone was on his right ear.

"Hmm... I'll be there." she said and ended the call

She wore her hoodie and made sure no one is awake at that time, or else they will question her why Felix was there that late.

As she came out of the house, Felix was looking down on the ground. It made her worried because he seem different. She stood in front of him and waited for him to move-

"Xiu..." he whispered

She stayed silent.

"I'm sorry that I have to show up when I am this wasted." Felix chuckled

"You're drunk." Xiu said and sighed

"I just... My mind kept messing up with me. I tried my best to understand the situation, but I felt like I am hopeless." Felix

Xiu was just staring at him as she felt the pain of Felix. She knows that Felix was in a very messed up situation and nothing can help him but stay beside him.

"Maybe I am really hopeless." he bit his lower lip trying to stop himself from crying

She just stared at Felix getting worried.

"Or maybe this is my karma for everything that I have done. Do I deserve this? Maybe yes. I deserve this pain. I really fucking do." Felix looked down

"I'll get you some water." Xiu said and was about to leave-

Felix held her wrist and pulled her into a hug which shocked Xiu. Her eyes widened, she wanted to push him but she can't even move.

"It hurts..." his voice broke

And Xiu felt his tears on her shoulders.

She hated it but she still caress his back "Cry it out. It's fine to cry. We all have that end line, where we get tired, felt hopeless, and been wanting give up. But in that end line, we will realize that things won't always go like what you wanted it to be. Maybe this is your end line."

He cried even more and hugged her tight. "My Mom was in pain and I failed to protect her at that time. I failed to protect my own Mom, I was too coward. Why can't I protect myself now?"

And he has a point, she realized. Who will protect Felix when everyone thought that he never needed it?

"I guess this why there's a saying, don't judge the book by it's cover. You are the perfect definition of that. Everyone thought you don't need protection because you are so strong, but the truth is, you were scared and desperate, can't even ask for that protection you needed." Xiu said and kept caressing his back with her two hands

"I can't even forgive myself for not protecting my Mom, how can I forgive my own Dad? Xiu, I failed so bad. I don't know what to do." Felix cried on her shoulder like a kid

"No, I am sure your Mom appreciate what you did. You protected her without you knowing, and thats is being by her side when she was in pain, that is more than enough. I am sure she is thankful." she comforted him with words because that's the least she can do

He kept sobbing.

"It's okay. You can cry. I'm here. I won't leave." she kept repeating those words to lessen his loneliness and pain

"I'm sorry that you have to witness this side of me, and even this fucked up situation." Felix said and let go of the hug, he wiped his tears away. "I just really hate it when someone breaks others's heart."

She smiled and said, "It's fine. I'll go get you some water. You're so dehydrated because of the alcohol."

He nodded.

Xiu went inside and took a glass of water for Felix. She was being careful so no one will wake up. She went outside and saw Felix looking up the sky where the stars are.

"You love the stars, don't you?" Xiu asked

Felix shook his head "I hate them because my Dad likes it. So, I hate them."

"You can't hate them just because your Dad likes it." Xiu rolled her eyes

Felix faked a smile.

"Drink this." she said and was trying to give him the water but Felix wasn't moving "Felix? Take it."

He looked at her.

"You okay?" she asked

He nodded.

"What's on your mind?" Xiu

He suddenly kissed him passionately that shocked her. Xiu's eyes widened as she wasn't expecting that to happen.

Felix let go of the kiss and whispered, "I'm scared that you'll break mine."
