They arrived at the venue of the party, all ready. Felix parked the car properly and they still stayed inside.
"Her photo?" Xiu asked
"I just heard Dad that she is wearing a maroon dress, her hair is down in big waves, and has a black necklace." Felix answered
Xiu nodded "Alright. Let's go."
She was about to get out of the car when Felix locked the door and took a small box out of the arm rest. Felix opened it and it showed a pink kunzite crystal necklace.
Xiu was quiet as she watches Felix move.
Felix went near Xiu and wore the necklace around Xiu's neck, which is the reason for them to hear each other's breath.
"Does this crystal have a meaning?" Xiu broke the awkward silence
"Self love." Felix answered in an almost whisper tone then he got out of the car as soon as he finished.
He was nervous and at the same time worried. He took a deep breath to calm himself down as he didn't know why he did that. Why did he gave her the necklace?
The necklace that his Mom owns and told Felix to give it to the girl he will love. Felix lied about the meaning of the necklace, it was not self love.

Xiu came out of the car "I'll give it back after."
Felix ignored her and was about to leave-
"Where are you going?" Xiu asked
"Inside." Felix
"Aren't you going to hold my hand?" Xiu asked and reached out her hand waiting for him to hold it "Others will know soon that we are engaged. Shouldn't you be sweet to me?"
"I forgot." he said and intertwined their fingers
They both went inside the venue and found a lot of rich businessmen. Felix wasn't even shock of the people because he have seen them a lot of times.
"How come you don't know how to hold a woman's hand? Do you only know how to make out and put hickey?" Xiu chuckled
"If you won't stop, I'll give you one." Felix threatened him
Xiu became silent.
Everyone was mesmerized by the couple who just entered the venue. Xiu was wearing a long dress that has a slit on the right part, it is sleeveless and has glitters. Her hair is straight and was put at the back to show her collarbones, with a matching gray white earrings. Felix is wearing a white long sleeves inside his black lapel tuxedo. His hair is bleached which showed how good looking he is, then an earring on the left ear.

After a few minutes, Mr. Lee went to the stage to give some speech. Everyone is listening attentively to the speech, but Xiu's eyes were wandering around the venue to look for Glei. She is too focused that she can't even hear what Felix was telling her.
"And to my son, Lee Felix, who will be inheriting everything I own. He will also take over the company as soon as he graduate. Felix is starting his training these past few weeks and he amazed me so much. Son, you know that I love you and I care for you, right? Sooner or later you will have your own family with a beautiful and smart lady. Be a good father and husband... To my soon to be daughter-in-law, thank you for coming in to our life, especially to Felix's life. I promise you won't regret marrying my son, he will love you unconditionally like how I loved his Mom. Congratulations to the both of you in advance!" Mr. Lee said and thanked all those who went to the party he arranged
The event started, and everyone had so much fun. Then few minutes after, the dance floor is filled with people dancing to upbeat songs. They were all having so much fun while Xiu was still busy.
"Have you heard if she will take off the necklace?" Xiu asked
"Why?" Felix asked
"I have seen a woman with maroon dress but her is hair tied up and she is not wearing a necklace. I can't see here properly. Should we move to another table?" Xiu asked
"Let's go." Felix said and held her hand as they left the table
Xiu was expecting to go to another table but Felix brought her to the dance floor and the music changed which made her nervous.

Felix smiled and put her hands on his shoulders, then he put his hands on her waist "Just follow the music. It's easy. I'm here. I'll guide you."
She took a deep breath and nodded. She just started dancing along the song with Felix's guide.
"Now, take your time and look around." Felix told her
Xiu was looking around and she can clearly see everyone. She is trying to scan each of the guests and make sure that she has in mind what Felix described the woman will appear.
Meanwhile, Felix can't help but stare at her face. His heart was beating fast and that scares him. Falling in love is such a waste of time, it will only bring him tears.
"I never held hands nor danced with anyone in my whole life." Felix
"Okay?" Xiu chuckled
"It was my first time with you." Felix
"I'm honored." Xiu smiled at him
"And I realized dancing and holding hand is better than making out." Felix
