Hyunjin's POV

It's been a week since we got back from China, and it's already been a week since Xiu last talked about Felix. After that, she didn't dare say a word about him which is so unusual. She would usually tell us every information about him but this time she didn't say anything.

I thought everything is fine between them, since Felix dropped her off and she was even in a happy mood when she entered the house. I even thought that the next day and following days, they would see each other often.

I've always wanted to ask her what happened between them but whenever I'm already in front of her, I can't even say a word or two. It felt like I shouldn't but at the same time I wanted to know so I can help.

Hyunhoon and I have been pushing each other to interview either Felix or Xiu about what happened but neither of us wanted to talk to them about it. Now, we're tiptoeing in the house, being careful not to say a thing about Felix.

"Good morning." I greeted with a smile on my face

She just gave me a nod and then sat as she ate her breakfast, "Have you-" then she stopped

"What? Have I what?"

"Nothing." she answered and continued eating

Do I say something?

She seems to be thinking about something a lot and it's been bothering her. Now that she is initiating to talk about it, means it's a good thing that she does. However, she stopped before even saying it.

"When we're in China, have you heard any news?" she asked

"Huh?"

Xiu glared at me, "During your stay in China, have you heard any random news that blew your mind?"

"Well, they told me that Changbin took a bath, finally."

She sighed.

"Fine. What kind of news?"

"Just something... unbelievable." she said and her voice revealed how she hesitated, "Have you?"

"Well, you know I wasn't always on my phone during my stay in China. I would sometimes check my phone but it's not even lasting for more than 10 seconds. Why?"

"Nothing. Just curious of your reaction." she said

I am really clueless on what she was telling me. Is her staying in the room most of the days, affected her thinking? Is she tired or what? I don't even know what's happening with her. That's out of the blue question.

"Did something happen?"

"Nothing." she said then took her food with her and went upstairs, to her room

Just a few minutes after, Hyunhoon came home and he looks so tired. He sat with me and kept staring at me.

"What?"

"Did something happen? You look bothered." he said

"Xiu was asking if I heard any news while I was in China, and I told her none because there's really nothing. Then she left and went to her room. I wonder if she's upset."

"She probably is." Hyunhoon chuckled

"I know something is going on."

"Let's not act out of anger, and let Xiu handle the problem she has." Hyunhoon said

"But she is always thinking so deep as if she was solving something."

Hyunhoon raised his eyebrow.

"Should we ask her now? I mean it's been a week since she last talked about Felix."

"Well, you should be happy now that she stopped talking about him. Finally, she got over him." Hyunhoon said and stole my food

"That fast? Isn't that weird?"

"Maybe they talked and had closure about what happened to them. Maybe they closed their chapter and both are happy for each other." he said and started eating the food

Hyunhoon might be right. Maybe they did really choose to forget about each other after having a talk. But there's still a part of me that's been wondering why all of a sudden. Knowing Xiu, she would probably be going to Felix now even if he wanted to end it.

I went to my room and just got ready for work. Dad left the company after he was arrested, I had to take over it because Hyunhoon is not interested at all, even Xiu. I can't just let the company go in vain, after all, Mom played a big part in building it. So, I'm doing this for her.

Just as I finished getting ready and was about to leave, Xiu is sitting on the sofa and she is staring somewhere as if she is in deep thoughts. I fucking knew it. Something is bothering her.

"Do you..." I didn't continue as I failed to get her attention, "Xiu."

She looks surprised to see me standing by the door.

"Don't tell me you didn't even notice I was here?"

"Huh? Sorry." she said

"What the fuck is happening? When you last saw Felix, that was also the start of you getting bothered. Did something happen? You wouldn't be this bothered if you're okay."'

"Nothing. I'm fine." she said

"Hyunhoon and I have been tiptoeing around this house whenever you're here. We wanted to ask but we also think that we shouldn't. Look, I wouldn't force you to say anything to me but I wanted you to answer this. Are you okay right now?"

She looked at me, but this time it's different. Her eyes are full of tears, threatening to roll down once she blink. I get it. I got her answer. She is obviously not okay.

Xiu wiped her tears, "Felix... He is getting married to someone else."
