After celebrating the victory of the mission with the gang at the bar, you all stayed to help Penny close up. Bradley drove you home, and it made you feel safer seeing Pete's bike outside of his house, next to Penny's car. Everyone was home, and was around you again. You couldn't deny that this was how you wanted it.

Bradley walked with you to your front door. As you unlocked and opened the door, Luna came running from inside. Once she saw Bradley, she immediately jumped into his arms and licked all over his face.

"Hey my girl! I don't know if it's possible but you seem bigger already, and it's only been a few days!" He began scratching her and petting her all over, "you're a daddy's girl aren't you? Yes, you're a daddy's girl." If dogs could smile, you were sure that she would have been.

You walked inside, with Luna now following you. Bradley still stood around the entrance of the house. "Well, what are you waiting for?" You asked.

"Oh, um I wasn't sure if you wanted to be alone tonight," he replied.

"Funny. Get your ass in here and lock the door. You knew you were staying with me."

He smiled and did as you said. You took Luna out back to use the bathroom, and when you came back into the bedroom, Rooster had placed a glass of wine on the counter, and some soft 80's rock was playing on the Bluetooth speaker. He was heating up the shower for you, and lit a Fall scented candle. Fall scents were your favorite, and being that it was nearing October, it was definitely a serotonin boost.

"What's all this about?" You asked, as you snaked your arms around his waist from behind, with your head leaning perfectly into the concave of his back.

"It's all for you. You deserve this, and so much more."

You both undressed, and made your way into the shower. Bradley's perfect physique had been bruised and beaten from the mission, but it somehow made him more perfect. You didn't know it was possible, but he looked even more beautiful in the dim light of the candle flickering outside of the shower door. You gently slid your fingers over every bruise on his skin, not being able to help yourself at the sadness that crossed your face.

"It's okay. I'm okay. I'm here," he said in almost a whisper. You finally let out what you had held in for so long over the last few days. You couldn't help but cry. Bradley reached out to you and embraced you in his arms, letting you crumble into him. He didn't care how many pieces you left on the shower floor that night, because he knew he was going to pick all of them up, and put you back together. "Are you okay?"

"I'm just..I'm just.." you couldn't make out a full sentence, feeling a shit ton of emotions all at once. Here you were, with what seemed to be the most perfect human being to exist, but still worried for your life all at the same time. You knew you were safe with Bradley, but knowing you couldn't be in his back pocket 24/7, made those horrible unsafe feelings still surface.

Bradley began to wash you gently with your loofah and your favorite vanilla soap. He washed your hair, and got out of the shower to wrap you in your towel. Once you were securely wrapped up and drying off, he got back in the shower to do the same to himself. You found one of his old academy shirts in his bag of things, and put it on. You put on a pair of shorts, and laid in bed. Bradley walked out of the bathroom after a few minutes wearing nothing but a pair of black boxer briefs. The lights were all off, and he blew out the candle. You hadn't noticed, but it started to rain outside. The 80s music was still playing, but turned lower. Bradley grabbed Luna and you all three laid in bed together. He grabbed you and pulled you into his side as he laid on his back, with one hand playing with your hair.

"Baby, I want you to talk to me. I'm here for you. Say whatever is on your mind." He said quietly, not sure how to tread these waters. You were always such a badass, he didn't know you would be this messed up over what had happened with that Phillips guy. He didn't know if there were things that he was unaware of, and that's what scared him the most.
