You awoke the next morning to an empty house. It was 7 AM and you knew Bradley had to be at the base by 6 AM sharp, or Ace would have his ass. You got up and decided to to start cleaning up from last night, but to your surprise, it had all been cleaned up already. The only thing in sight were your roses on the counter, with a note that read:
Good morning, my love. I didn't want to wake you when I left. I hope you had an amazing night last night. I can't wait to come home to you.
Love, BYou instantly smiled and felt your heart swelling in your chest. You decided that you wanted to make some breakfast burritos to take to the guys at work, you knew how grueling those days could be up in the air, and you didn't want them to forget to take a minute to stop and eat.
You made your way back to your old house, and after picking up Luna from Penny next door, you began to prepare your burritos. You made egg, bacon, and cheese, along with some with chorizo, your favorite. You made enough to feed a 10 aviator squadron, which would be perfect, as the Top Gun classes usually held enough spaces for 8-10 pilots.
You put on a pair of jeans, and your favorite academy shirt of Bradley's, and made your way to base with Luna and the burritos. As you arrived, you saw the class preparing to take flight. You made your way over to Ace who was standing outside watching the pilots.
"Why hello there Blaze, come to join the fun?"
You laughed. "I just thought you guys deserved full stomachs on the first day. I didn't want anyone to forget to eat and then pass out up there."
"These guys..forget to eat? When have Hangman or Rooster ever missed a meal?" You both chuckled. Those boys could definitely put away some food, but they still had amazing and muscular physiques. They called it "bulking."
You two made conversation for a while. You had seen the boys instructing the class as they double and triple checked their jets, but you didn't want to interrupt. Ace had to take off back to the office, gave you a thanks for your burrito, and walked off.
You took Luna with you into the room full of desks and chairs, and played with her for a while as you waited. Not too long after, a group of pilots made their way inside to sit down. You gave them all smiles, and offered your burritos.
"To what do we owe the pleasure of such a beautiful lady making her appearance?" One of them spoke with a smirk plastered to his face. God it felt like you were talking to Hangman. You were about to respond when you heard his voice.
"You owe the pleasure to me, because that's my girl." Bradley made his way over to you. His flight suit was unzipped and hanging on his hips. He had on a tight black t-shirt, showing off his huge upper body, and his aviators. His hair was a bit messy, as he had apparently just gotten down from the air. He walked over to you and leaned down to give you a soft and quick kiss to the lips.
"What're you doing here, baby?" He asked genuinely. He picked up Luna and began to give her all of the loving.
"I just wanted to make some breakfast burritos for the group. I wanted to make sure you guys ate with all of the flying you would be doing today."
From somewhere in the back you heard, "Damn Rooster, if you don't wanna lock it down, I'll volunteer as tribute. She has the looks AND she cooks." You turned your head to see a blonde-haired man, who seemed to be physically fit as well, but still not as bulky as Bradley. Naval aviators always had the reputation of being cocky. It was just one of the characteristics you had to have under your belt, apparently.
"200 push-ups, outside with Hondo, now. Think twice next time before disrespecting your instructor or any woman," Bradley responded. The pilot just stared in disbelief. "Did I stutter? Go. Now." He pointed outside, and the pilot decided it was time to walk off before he caused a bigger scene. Just by the late morning, the class already knew that Rooster was going to be brutal. "If no one else has any more of my buttons to push, feel free to grab some breakfast and take a 10 minute break." Bradley wrapped an arm around you, with Luna in the other, and you walked away outside.
