32.
Olivia Coleman
It's unbelievable how much a person can change just after one month. Matthew now had conspicuous eye-bags, his hair was messier, and his nose was a tinted pink. As our eyes connected, I could clearly notice that he was unhappy - not the same Matthew I was familiar with.
But then again, who knows who the real Matthew even is?
"Oh..." I heard a mumble from behind me. Cameron. "Right. I forgot. Olivia, Matthew is here to help, also. Is that okay?" I looked away from Matthew and just shrugged, proceeding to walk into Cameron's house. I set the box down and turned around, to Lauren and Cameron. Neither of them even had boxes.
"Whatever, I don't care. I'm only here for a while, anyways. Plus, it's your house and he's your best friend, so whatever." I replied. Matthew didn't say anything.
"Cameron is going to, uh, show me around the place," Lauren told me. "Can you and Matthew just get the boxes and put them upstairs in Cameron's room...please?" I raised my eyebrow. Obviously Lauren knew where everything was in this place - she didn't need a tour.
"Whatever." I grumbled. Lauren and Cameron looked at each other and walked away, Cameron leading Lauren towards the kitchen. I quickly walked out the door and to Lauren's car, Matthew following behind.
"Olivia-" he began to talk when we were outside.
"Don't talk to me." I snapped, grabbing a box from the car, and without even looking at him, I walked back to the house. The process of moving all the boxes was very tiring, considering that I was the one to do most of the work. Matthew had only take one or two boxes up to is room, and I took the rest.
I just wanted to leave already.
I set down the last box on the floor of Cameron's room. When I turned around, I saw that it was Matthew blocking the bedroom door. Great, I thought, of course with sarcasm.
"Olivia, just please fucking listen to what I have to say." he said.
"No." I simply reply, crossing my arms.
"Fine. Then try to leave, babe, cause I'm not allowing you until you hear me out." Matthew crossed his arms, as well. I rolled my eyes and looked to Cameron's alarm clock.
"One minute. You have one minute to talk...like it would change anything."
"I don't need a minute," he walked closer to me. "And I don't have to say anything...just kiss me."
I raised my eyebrows. "Kiss you? I'm not going to kiss you, Matthew. If you can't already tell, I hate you." Of course I don't hate him.
"And I would believe you...but I know for a fact that that's not true." Matthew gave me a smile, arriving in front of me. "Now shush, baby, you speak too much." And then he leaned down, cupping my face with his hands, and kissing me.
