The silence filled the air as the opponents draw their weapons toward each other. There, stood a quiet but determined figure, with black hair and a a cover of bravery (and quite literally a cover).
The one opposite from his side stood courageously with brown hair and a dark cloak covering them (which was also a cover). They were filled with the same determination as their oponent.
The determination to END HIM ONCE AND FOR ALL!
They're settling things here and now, the two thought to themselves. They must be.
"This is to settle the score!" Kel narrowed his eyes staring at Sunny. Sunny stayed quiet, only pointing his sword directly at Sunny. Spectators gathered around slowly but surely as the two began walking opposite directions in the circle.
"You're gonna lose, Sunny! You better call it quits now, because I'm gonna get all that glory!"
"Why would I call it quits to a person like you, noodle arms?" Sunny narrowed his eyes while keeping them on Kel. "You take that back.." Kel mumbled. Sunny just stayed quiet.
The two suddenly stopped in place. The wind made a leaf blow by, silently crossing the two as they stood in place. Kel suddenly charged forward, aiming his sword directly at Sunny, as Sunny began charging forward as well.
The duel BEGAN!
Kel swung, Sunny dodging to the opposite direction and swinging back. Kel backed up too much and nearly tripped, allowing to swing again. KEL slammed his sword into Sunny's to block the attack, as they began to clash with each other more and more. People watched in amazement at the two.
They swung at each other for a bit before Kel swatting Sunny over to a tree, pointing his sword directly at him.
"That's it, Sunny! You're done for!" Kel smiled widely and confidently. Sunny sighed, putting his hands up.
"Drop the sword." Kel said. Sunny slowly began to put his sword down....
Until Kel felt a hard poke on his side.
He's been HIT!
Kel gasped as Sunny smiled murderously at him. Kel dropped to the floor as he could feel the sharp pain of the sword being taken out.
He stood on his knees as Sunny walked up to him.
"It's been fun, really. But I think we both know it'd end up this way." Sunny then aimed his sword's point down at Kel.
"Adios, amigo."
"HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?" It was Hero.
"HEEERROO!" Kel groaned. "We were having a super COOL MOMENT!"
"Cool moment?" Hero asked. "You know what's not COOL? KEEPING MARI AND ME WORRIED FOR AN HOUR! Were you guys just messing around the whole time?!"
Kel and Sunny silently stared at each other as Hero took away their swords, which were just really long sticks.
"Now come on. Let's get you both back for lunch." Hero grabbed the two by the hands as Kel began tugging away from him.
"But we gotta finish the fight! I was supposed to be dying right now!"
"Too bad, Kel." Hero said. "Maybe you can die later when you're finished eating."
