Michelle sat leaning against the giant tree my head resting on her soft thighs as her nimble fingers racked through my hair.

Sighing softly Michelle leaned down lightly "what is today's date?" She asked gently.

"The seventh of October. Why?" I lift my head curiously as I try to sit and capture her lips in my own.

Michelle leaned back into her original position as I crawled up her legs.

"Just want to make sure you never forget the date the universe brought us back together."

I lay my head on Michelle again.

"You're coming on way too strong. It's probably going to scare me away." Her chest moves with quiet laughter.

"No, it won't. You'll see. Ten years from now on October seventh, I'm going to roll over in our bed at midnight and whisper, 'i told you so' in your ear."

I roll my eyes at her petty words but couldn't deny that bubbly feeling in my chest.

Michelle took my face in her cold hands bringing our faces closer together, her breath against my lips.

"I love you, Y/n"

"I love you, too"

She kissed me ever so gently, full of passion and built-up emotion.

We break away, foreheads resting against one another we smile breathlessly Michelle whispers.

"I thought you were the one that got away."

"I still could be," I responded huskily

"Don't be"

I want to say "I won't be," but Michelle's soft grasp on my face holts all and any words willing to pass my lips.

As she joins her own with mine once more, our lips move in beautiful unison. Not too short, but not too long. This is the perfect kiss for the perfect moment.

"You're my favourite person" I spoke after a while.

I felt her laugh a little beneath me and it made me confused.

"Out of how many people?" She asked me sweetly.

"All of them." There wasn't anyone I'd rather have than Michelle.

She kissed my nose until I pulled back, we look at each other like we're about to kiss but we don't.

Instead, we smile gazing into each other's eyes I take one of Michelle's hands off my face.

I kiss her palm gently before placing it above my heart, I feel her hand squeeze gently as she feels my breast.

I ignore her actions "you, Michelle Marie Pfeiffer have my heart. And ever we are to separate I don't think I'd be able to give it away because it would most likely still belong to you."

I look into her teary eyes before pulling her into my arms... this is the new beginning for us.

She's the end game. She's my end game.

"Kiss me until I am sick of it" Michelle demanded and who am I to deny such a wonderful request?

Her love is beautiful.

I lay beside Michelle in bed, my back tired from the ending day. Our children lay asleep in their respective rooms, tucked neatly in bed.

My eyes closed my body on the brink of sleep itself.

"Y/n"

"Y/n, wake up"

I tiredly open my eyes, she points behind me smiling and says, "look."

I half-turn and glance over at the alarm clock, right as it changes to midnight. Michelle leans into my ear and whispers, "it's the seventh of October. Ten years later and we're happily married. I told you so."

I wanted to slap her stupid face but couldn't.

She had stayed up just to keep her stupid promise, an even stupider smile makes its way on my tired face.

I roll my eyes, biting my lip trying not to grin too hard "I see that Sherlock."

I place a small hand on the side of Michelle's face conjoining our lips quickly,

"I love you, Michelle."

"I love you, too."
