When Josie finally gets up, she sets out on an entirely new mission to find Hope.

She's easily becoming addicted to the mere presence of the other girl.

And she could blame that on her Tribrid power, but she knows it's really more than that.

She eventually finds the girl in the armory, admiring her new arrow molding.

"Do you two need a minute?"

Hope turns around to face the doorway, seeing the brunette girl gazing at her with an amused raised eyebrow.

Hope shakes her head and grins at the teasing remark, "I'd much rather be in your company, actually."

Josie blushes at that before making her way over to the seat at the table across from Hope.

"I heard from dad that our werewolf decided to enroll at the school."

Hope finishes carving the rune on the side of the arrow before turning her full attention to Josie, "Yeah, I think it'll be really good for him."

Josie studies her for a moment, "How'd you get him to agree to stay so quickly?"

Hope shrugs, "I was just honest with him. Showed him he wasn't alone in everything he's going through right now."

Josie nods. She hesitates before she responds, "You know, you're perfect for this."

Hope furrows her eyebrows in confusion, "Perfect for what?"

"Just...all of this. This program, you leading the team last night—"

"Josie—"

"I'm serious Hope. Everyone here looks up to you, and they trust you."

"Not everyone."

Josie sighs, "Lizzie will come around, okay? Just be patient with her."

"I will, I promise."

"Great. So when does training start Captain?" Josie smirks slightly, knowing that the nickname gets under Hope's skin.

Hope raises an eyebrow at her, "Actually, Agents Greasley and Hawkins had sessions earlier this morning. And I think we even made some progress."

Josie looks pleasantly surprised, "Wow, you work fast. Must have the magic touch or something..."

Hope smirks subtly, "You think so?"

Josie nods, a flirtatious smile playing at her lips, "Not that I would know personally..."

"Oh?" Hope props her arms on the table as she leans a bit closer absentmindedly, her voice coming out noticeably huskier than before, "And we are still referring to the Shield training, right Agent Saltzman?"

Josie clears her throat, noting the glint in the Tribrid's eyes. It's seductive, playful. Full of mischief.

"Right—Of course Captain Mikaelson."

God, Josie's never felt tension quite like this. You could cut through it with a knife, it's so thick in the air between them.

And Josie has no idea where this sudden confidence and ability to flirt with the Almighty Tribrid has come from, but with the way Hope looks at her with intrigued eyes, she's grateful for it, no matter the source.

"In that case, we should probably schedule your training session sooner rather than later?"

Josie nods, "We definitely should."

"Good," When a subtle smile tugs at the girl's lips, Josie thinks she might start swooning.

Their intense gaze is interrupted by Josie's phone chiming.
