"What's this thing?"
Josie has been curiously looking over the equipment Roman brought to their room.Hope eyes widen as Josie reaches for one of the items.
She quickly grabs Josie's hand, "Careful, that's an explosive."
"What about this thing?" She reaches for another, only to be stopped by Hope again.
"Hand grenade, disguised as a cigarette lighter."
Josie hums, impressed.
She points to a pen beside the case, raising an eyebrow, "Let me guess, this one's a laser?"
"That's a pen Josie. Just a pen."
Josie purses her lips together and nods a single time,
"...Right. Obviously."Hope shoots the brunette an amused look, while Roman raises an eyebrow at the two.
He awkwardly interrupts...whatever is happening between the two,
"Take your pick Agent Mikaelson."Hope responds while looking over the weapons, "I'm not an agent, merely a consultant."
"Whatever you say."
She picks up one of the pistols, feeling the weight distribution.
"I thought this was a non-combative mission?"
Hope nods to Josie, "Just a precaution, love."
"So do I get one?"
Hope raises an eyebrow, "Do you know how to handle a gun?"
"Yes." Josie says defensively, before receiving a knowing look from the Tribrid.
"Okay,"
Hope turns the handgun over, gesturing for the brunette to take it, which she hesitantly complies,
"Shoot me."Josie's eyes widen, "What?"
Hope takes Josie's hand which holds the pistol, aiming it right for her shoulder, "It won't kill me Jo. Just shoot."
Josie looks like that's the most absurd thing she's ever heard, "I can't shoot you, Hope!"
Hope challenges her still, "That's an order Agent Saltzman. If you succeed in shooting me, I'll let you carry the gun tonight. Seems fair, right?"
Josie looks toward the barrel of the gun, pointed right at Hope's shoulder.
It won't kill her, and it won't hurt her too bad.
She heals quickly, "But it'll...get blood on your shirt."She's literally coming up with any excuse not to pull the trigger, but Hope still rebuttals each attempt.
"A quick spell will clean that up."
How is it that the Tribrid is so intimidating even when held at gunpoint, perhaps even more intimidating than usual.
"Okay...this is your last chance to stop me..." Josie is practically pleading Hope to stop her.
But Hope doesn't.
Her eyes are daring, almost demanding.
So Josie does what she's supposed to do, quickly averting her gaze as she pulls the trigger.
'Click'
Josie turns back to Hope, confused.
Josie pulled the trigger. But nothing happened.
Hope raises an eyebrow, holding up her hand, where she holds the magazine,
"Can't shoot an empty gun Jo.""What?!" Josie turns the gun over, and sure enough, it's empty.
