Part 30 - Distraction

In still confused.

Why do I keep getting these images of Saverio?

First a dream. Then a reality.

It's all so confusing.

But being as though this is mine and Alec's honeymoon kind of. I don't want it to be a constant reminder of Saverio.

So I'll do anything to not get into that conversation.

I just went for a morning run, which was amazing

The weather is amazing and I love it.

Still being as there was a breeze, I felt refreshed and clean.

I just got back and the kitchen is filled with food.

I mean, I love food but this is stepping over another level.

The refrigerator is open and that itself is covered with cakes.

I drop my water and close the door.

I look inside the refrigerator and it contains only my favourites.

I close the refrigerator door and look around the room.

What is going on?

Then Alec walks through the bathroom door.

He looks at me with such excitement

"Are you telling me I don't eat?"

Alec laughs at my words.

He walks over to me, grabbing both my hands in his.

"Someone ordered all this for us. So we're going to be stuffed by the end of this" he says.

I keep looking at him, confusion filled through me.

Who would do that?

It just doesn't make sense to me.

Alec pulls me into an empty space. Doing something on his phone.

Suddenly a song begins playing from a speaker.

Alec pulls me to his body.

He moves our bodies side to side with the music.

I purse my lips, looking straight into his eyes.

I love him so much.

My love for him will never be unbroken.

Even if I stopped living with him, or got a divorce.

Even if I never knew him.

My love for him will always be there.

"We never had a first dance" he whispers to me.

I laugh under my breathes.

"Great song choice" I laugh once more.

He smiles me.
