“SERIOUS”

"So you're telling me that you're arranged to someone who you didn't know?" Soobin asked him, trying to process what he just told them.

"Hyung, how many times do Yeonjun hyung have to tell you? He already told you like five times, and you can't still understand?" Beomgyu frustratingly said to the older guy, before continuing to eat.

"I understand it but it's just hard to accept that he will get married soon." Soobin said, as he wipe his fake tears.

"You just don't want to let go of your platonic soulmate." Taehyun told him bluntly. Chewing the meat that just cooked.

"Let him be, we both grow up together. He's just jealous since I'm getting married while he still doesn't have any girlfriend." Yeonjun patted his back, before Soobin forcefully swat his hands away from him.

"Would you stop that, I'm enjoying my moment here, you know." Soobin go back to his drama, and continue eating.

"You're being back to your dramatic self hyung. You should stop that." Kai said, looking at the dramatic guy.

"You know what? Just let him be, and let's add the pain you're feeling..." Beomgyu said, making him stop and look at him, confused on why he was saying.

"What do you mean?" Sioning asked, waiting for beomgyu to tell him. But instead of saying it, he usher Yeonjun to continue it.

"What?" He mouthed to his younger brother.

"Tell them." Beomgyu mouthed back.

The other three watched the two exchange words to each other.

"You tell them, you started it, you should tell them." Yeonjun mouthed back, again.

"You're the one who's getting —"

"We're still here you know? And what are you guys talking about?" Kai cut Beomgyu with a furrowed brows.

Yeonjun sigh before putting his chopsticks down, "You can't attend the wedding ceremony." Dropping another bomb, the three look at him dumbfounded.

"W-wait what?! What do you mean can't? We're your friend?" Soobin ask, can't believe what he just heard.

"It's between the family, it won't even come out the public. It'll just be a proof that our company will have a strong partnership till the contact ends." Yeonjun said.

"I mean we are your friends, we couldn't miss your wedding day." Taehyun said as he put his chopsticks down that he was holding.

"Dad told me that she have to stay low for now. Besides she's still aiming for something big." Yeonjun explained, he can't really say the whole story but he also can't lie to them. Specially knowing them, they'll know that he is lying.

"What do you mean big? Is there something more bigger than the company's partnership?" Sioning ask, now slowly getting more serious on their topic.

These kind of situation can't be let go, specially that one of their friend is included. He's still young, erm... He's turning 23 though. But he's still young to get marry, he still have many things to do. So him marrying someone and won't be publicize is something they won't let go.

For them Yeonjun will sacrifice his single life for something that the girl can't do properly. But for Yeonjun, he knows what's the real reason that's why he's letting it.

"Well. There's no problem to it, the company can have a big advantage because of it." Beomgyu answered this time. As he could be reliable when it comes to these things, he's a part of the legal team after all.

"Advantage? Isn't really big advantage for them to have this kind of contract with your company?" Kai tried to butt in, "It's already big enough."

"You don't understand." Yeonjun groaned in frustration. Sometimes his friends can be reasonable to the point that they're begin to be so annoying for him.

"We really can't understand, you keep on saying those low explanation and just that, why don't you explain it to us more deep, tell us what she's aiming f—" Soobin got cut off by the annoyed Yeonjun.

"Her dreams okay?" He lowly exclaimed, trying himself not to outbursts. "Her dream that might be ruined because of this contract. Her dream that can bring advantage to us in other way. Do you think this is not unfair to her? She's been hiding all of her life just to have her dream, and this contract will ruin it." He added.

The four jeep silent on his short elaboration, his breath start to become uneven. As they can only watch him calm himself.

Sometimes being the oldest is already a hard work, but explaining to them who is really reasonable people is so hard.

Soobin looked at him, trying to stop himself from asking any questions but oh well, he can't.

He's Choi Soobin after all.

"Who are you going to marry? At least tell us." He ask the older, giving him the same intensity he's giving to him.

"The hidden daughter of Hwang Corporation."
