7. Damn, Drake was Right

It's been 2 days since the girls hung out with the (former) members and it's been awkward and quiet since. Both needed to unload but neither knew how to approach the other with the information weighing them down. As they were preparing to go back home, gathering up and packing all their belongings, Amber's phone rang, she didn't recognize the number but the format of it told her it was a Korean call.

"Hello"

"Hi Amber, it's Yoongi"

"Oh, hey, what's up?" Her heart rate accelerated

"Are you available to meet with us? If you don't want to, I totally understand but we'd really like to see you both before you leave"

Amber bit her lip, watching her partner move around for a few seconds before answering him "That should be fine, let me talk to Janiya first and I'll call you back"

"Okay, I'll be waiting" they ended the brief call. Amber took a deep breath and exhaled.

"Niya, can we talk?" She asked, the younger woman dropped the shirt she was folding on the bed and rubbed her hands nervously on her thighs

"Yeah, yeah of course," Janiya was kind of nervous but felt ridiculous walking on eggshells around the woman she loved and has lived with for the past 6 years.

"Babe, I don't want you to get too upset at what I'm about to tell you because it was a drunken accident" she began pacing in a small line to the left and right

"Okay" she said warily, afraid of what Amber was about to tell her

"So, when we went out with the guys and ended up at Yoongi's apartment, I bumped into him when I was coming out of the bathroom, and we were both very drunk and sleepy and he kissed me" she spoke in a single breath then slapped her hands over her mouth. Janiya's eyes bugged and she stopped breathing but only for a second.

The silence somehow got louder until Amber broke it "I'm really sorry and it didn't mean anything! It was barely a kiss; a peck is more like it and-and he apologized. I swear it was an accident" she rambled again, speaking so fast it sounded more like Spanish than English.

Janiya felt nothing. Not in a negative way but she didn't feel upset or distraught, she knew Amber loved and respected her, she knew her girlfriend wouldn't do anything to jeopardize their relationship and technically she didn't do anything-Yoongi kissed her. She processed the confession with a shrug

"I believe you and I'm not mad"

"You're not?"

"No. I don't believe he did it with ill intent or with a hidden agenda. All of were super wasted and confused and disoriented so he wasn't in the right state of mind"

"Oh, thank god!" Amber exhaled with a hand over her chest "I was afraid of how'd you'd react"

"I trust you Bambi"

"Thank you, Niya, I'm sorry I waited two days to tell you, I was going to wait until we got back home but since Yoongi called asking if we can meet up with them again, I figured it was best to tell you now." the younger woman nodded

"Did he say why he wanted to see us again?"

"Probably to formally apologize and say goodbye before we leave tomorrow"

"Will all the guys be with him?" she asked with a slightly nervous lip bite

"I don't know, he didn't say" Amber noticed the subtle change in body language "Why?"

"I might be thinking too much into it, honestly it was probably nothing but..."

"But what?"

"I think Namjoon tried hitting on me. Maybe not. I don't know" Janiya blurted out, thinking it sounded silly now that she was saying it out loud
