26. Time Flies

The short trip to Chicago was coming to an end but none of the trio were ready to part ways just yet. Yoongi rearranged his affairs so that he could spend the majority of his last day with Janiya and Amber. Waking up together after another long night of lovemaking made his heart sing, it felt so right, it felt like home.

"What's on your mind baby?" Amber asked, she noticing he was deep in thought as they ate breakfast.

"I wish this," he said pointing between them "could last longer. I'm not ready for you and Janiya to leave yet and I'm dreading going back to Korea in a few days cause that'll put us even farther away from each other."

"I understand how you feel because I feel the same. I love spending time with you and hate that we literally live on opposite sides of the world" she sighed and put her hand on top of his "But we're strong and we can do this, make our relationship work with the distance and time difference. Our relationship is anything but normal so why would it be simple?"

"A man can dream." Amber leaned over the table to kiss his cheek, making him smile "Have you decided when you'll tell everyone else?"

"We talked about it yesterday and decided to wait until our trip to Korea, hopefully we can hold out that long, but we think it would be best to do it in person."

"I do too." Yoongi agreed. He took a sip of coffee at the same time his phone buzzed on the table. He typed out a reply to the message before placing it face down on the table again. "So, what do you want to do today?"

"Not a lot, I am tired." Janiya yawned and pushed her empty plate away. "I slept okay but my body is sore."

"Aww I wanted to go to the Field Museum"

"You and Yoongi can go. I will not be any fun if I have to go outside with a few more hours of sleep."

Amber turned to him with big, bright eyes that he could not say no to. "Sounds good to me. Afterwards, we will touch base and see what you want to do."

"Thank you!" Niya jumps up from her seat and kissed them both on the lips before scurrying back to bed leaving her lovers laughing.

They finish eating while tentatively mapping out their day. Half an hour later Amber and Yoongi are being chauffeured to the museum, holding hands during the car ride only disconnecting to answer a few texts to friends and staff. When they arrive, they are thankful the crowd is thin and mostly older. There is also a large group of children, presumable on a field trip from their school but no one that might notice him right away.

"I hope we didn't ruin your schedule. I know you came here for work and rearranging things can be difficult." Amber stated as they leisurely strolled through the massive building, taking in the structures and information blurbs.

"Not at all. It can be but I put all my priority items within the first few days of the trip so the meetings and sessions I rescheduled minimally impacted my schedule, don't even worry about it."

"Good, that makes me feel better." He gave her hand a reassuring squeeze then brought it to his masked lips and kissed it.

The couple took their time seeing everything the museum had to offer. An hour into their visit Amber needed to use the bathroom so Yoongi stood just out the restroom area with his security personnel waiting nearby as well. When she came out of the ladies room he took her hand and pulled her into the private family bathroom.

"What are you doing?"

"Shhh. Want to have some fun?" his voice was husky and mischievous. Immediately she caught his drift and willing following him in and locked the door behind them.
