"CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW GRADUATES!", our headmaster, Mr. Peterson yelled in delight.

Sunny and I looked at each other. We are a few chairs apart but we still smiled at each other and both tossed our caps in the air.

Other students also tossed their graduation caps. Everyone's so happy. My heart feels like it's jumping.

FINALLY!

I can feel a tear forming at the back of my eye. I'm so used to crying but this one's a tear of joy. I can't believe it! The high school's finally over!

I looked at Mum in the array of a crowd on my left side. It took me a minute or two to find her. I smiled at her and showed the medals hanging on my neck.

She smiled and clapped. She even mouthed 'Great job'

We sang our school's farewell song. Some of the students cried. Well, I'm also one of those students.

My high school memories are all bittersweet memories. I'm really happy High-school is now over. I'll be leaving those bullies now. But I have to admit it.

I also had good times at high school. I had few friends. Not to mention my best friend, Sunny. And I also learned to love.

Though Tyler and I didn't end well, I still consider it a lesson. I learned something from it.

Sunny and I took some pictures together. I also took pictures with some of my classmates. Mum and I also took pictures. Van also jumped out of nowhere and took a picture with me. I wanted to say no but that would ruin everyone's day so I decided to just take one photo and let it slide.

A lot of students and parents congratulated me on being the Valedictorian. I knew I was leading but it still felt so surreal.

Tyler and Tiffany didn't make it to graduation. I heard rumors that Tiffany stopped attending classes a few weeks before the final exam, making her fail the finals. Tyler, on the other hand, missed a lot of classes and can't make it.

If it wasn't for the accident, he would have marched too.

Mum and I celebrated after the ceremony. We went to fine dining overlooking the city. It was an hour and a half ride.

Mum decided she'll go with me to the UK. We're going to start a new life and leave everything behind. Her wedding with Peter's off. They decided to go their ways.

Her business here would not stop. It would be run by her manager and she'll monitor it via phone calls and video calls. If her presence is needed, then she'll come back home.

"I'm so full Mum.", I said and patted my stomach.

Mum laughed. "Do you want to get some dessert?", she asked.

I shook my head. "I think I don't have any room for dessert. I just want to lay down and sleep." I slumped on my sit and acted lazily.

"Alright. When are you going to pack your things? I want to travel with you and explore the United Kingdom before your classes start.", Mum said, glancing at me.

I immediately sat up.

"Mum?"

She nodded smiling.

"I'll pack my things tonight."

She burst out laughing after I finished my sentence.

We got home at 7 o'clock. I washed up and was already playing with my phone when I received a message from an unknown number.

Unknown number: Hey

My first thought was it was Sunny. She has a lot of numbers and it's her hobby to change numbers.

Me: Sunny?

Sunny usually replies within seconds. She never leaves her phone unattended.

Unknown Number: Yes, it's me.

I saved Sunny's new number to 'Sunnynew_new'as I already don't know what to name her.

Me: How was the celebration? I bet you ate a lot! Sorry, I couldn't go. Mum and I went to eat outside.

Sunny: It was fun. Congratulations again for being ranked number 1.

Me: You already said that earlier! LOL. But thanks!

Sunny: So, when are you going to fly to the UK?

I thought it was weird that Sunny is asking. I already told her we'll be leaving in a week. Oh, well. Maybe she forgot.

Me: Hey, you already forgot? We'll be leaving in a week, remember? I'm excited!

It took minutes before Sunny replied. I thought she was already sleeping so I took a shower and left my phone on my bed. She sent two messages while I was in the bathroom.

Sunny: Sorry, I forgot. I can't believe it. You're going.

Sunny: I'm going to miss you.

Awww. I'm also going to miss her.

Me: Aww. I'll miss you too. Don't worry, we'll video call every day!

After I sent my last message, my phone rang and it showed Sunny's caller ID. It's her other number.

Aww. Maybe she's already missing me and wants to talk instead. I answered her call.

"Hey—", I was cut off by the loud music in her background.

"Hello? Krysh? Hey, stop that!", I think she was talking to someone.

I hear the door closing and the music was silenced.

"Hey!", I said. "I didn't know the party is still going."

Maybe, I just misread her messages.

"Of course! Do you want to come? Some of our high school classmates are also here. I didn't invite any bitches."

We laughed at her remarks.

"Do you miss me that much?", I kidded.

"What? In your dreams!"

I laughed. "Come on. You just told me you'll miss me."

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

Oh, so she's denying it now?

"HA-HA. You texted me earlier using your new number. I have it on my phone! You can't fool me."

Silence.

"Sunny?"

"Krysh, I didn't use my phone the entire evening. And I don't have a new number. What are you saying?"

"Sunny, your Mum is looking for you.", I heard someone in the background.

"Alright. I'll be there in a minute.", she replied. "I need to go now, Krysh. If you want to come over, just tell me. Oh, and don't reply to that weird guy or girl who's pretending to be me. Bye!", she dropped the call.

As if on cue. My phone vibrated. The fake Sunny texted me.

"Then... who's this?"

When trembling hands I opened the message.

XXX: I love you. Will you say I love you too?
