"Krysh to earth?!", Sunny snapped her fingers three times to pull me out of my reverie.

I blinked at her and slowly shook my head. I'm lost in my thoughts again.

"I've been talking for minutes now. I don't even know if you heard what I just said.", She frowned at me.

I gave her an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry. What were you saying again?", I asked and her frown deepens.

"Come on. You don't actually believe her? Right?", She asks, taking a full bite of her sandwich.

"Who? Tiffany?"

She rolled her eyes upwards. "Of course! I mean, it's not as if you're
on good terms with her. So why would she tell you that?"

"She doesn't have any reason to lie though.", I retorted.

"I don't know. I'm skeptical about this.", She said before drinking her coffee.

I took a sip of my coffee. "I'm also confused. I can't stop thinking about what she said."

I don't know what to think. Tiffany left after our conversation. She thanked me and left. I don't know if she told Van or Tyler about it but they don't seem to have a clue.

I was discharged the day after that incident.

I didn't tell them what I knew. I don't even know if she's lying or not.

But then again, I can't find any reason for her to lie.

Argh!

Should I just ask them?

No. That's not a good idea.

"Stop thinking about it."

"How can I? If it's true... Van hid it from me?"

She shrugged.

"I don't think he would do that...", She paused for a second before continuing. "On second thought, he might have done so. Knowing how he's so head over heels for you. He might have hidden that fact so you could get over Tyler."

"Do you think.. Tyler really went after me?"

She stared at me. "Would it have changed a thing back then if he really did?"

I looked down at my hands. Not knowing what to say.

"I just want to know.", I answered.

"It would have. Wouldn't it?", She said, answering her own question.

I groaned. "I didn't say that."

She laughed. "It's written all over your face. You can't lie to me. I know you."

"Fine. Whatever.", I said, rolling my eyes.

"Then why don't you ask them? That way, you'll know the answer to your questions."

I sighed. "If Van really hid that fact from me, I don't think he'll admit it that easily."

A part of me would also be disappointed that he lied to me.

She thought about it for a second and said, "Then ask Tyler instead."

Should I?

I don't know. I'm so confused right now.

She saw my hesitation and said, "What are you so afraid of? You don't have feelings left for him anyway."

I bit my lower lip and did not say a thing.

She looked at me as if waiting for my answer. Her forehead furrowed.

Then her jaw dropped.

"Noooo. Youuuu don'ttttt.", She laughed and I had to hush her. She's too loud!
