Do I have any feelings left for Tyler?

Honestly, he would always have a special place in my heart. He was my first love.

But right now?

"No. I don't like him.", I answered his question without any hesitation.

I saw his small smile and immediately said...

"But I don't like you either in a romantic way. I already told you, Van.. you're a great guy. But I can't bring myself to like you more than a friend. I'm sorry."

I took my sling bag and went out of his car. I don't want to give him false hope so it's better to turn him down again and again than make him believe in something not real.

I took my key inside my bag and opened my car. I slid myself inside the car and started my engine.

I know Van wants to be more than just a friend but I cannot offer him anything more than that. I don't want to fool myself that I can love him if I give it some time.

Love doesn't work that way. It cannot be forced.

It comes naturally. Van is a great guy. He's perfect. But being perfect doesn't mean he's going to be the best guy for me. I'm also not saying Tyler is the best guy. I just don't have any feelings for any of them.

I don't want to lose Van. He's a dear friend. But if this continues, I'm afraid I have to avoid him.

I went straight home after.

Sunny arrived around 9 pm. Henry dropped her by which is very unusual.

I offered him something to eat but he declined. It looks like he's in a good mood cause he let Sunny stay for the night and even offered to drop her off.

Sunny kissed him goodbye and off he goes.

We ate our dinner and watched an hour-and-a-half movie after that.

"What would you wear for tomorrow?", Sunny asked after she took a shower.

I was already in my pajamas. I took a bath minutes ago.

"I'm torn between my silk champagne dress and my blue sequins dress."

"Champagne sounds great."

I laughed. "Are we still talking about my dress?", I asked and she laughed.

"Well... I'm sure anything would look good on you. But Champagne is a winner.", she said, singing the last word in a melody she made up.

I shook my head at her. "By the way, Henry seems to be in a good mood.", I said and she grinned.

Geez, her grin is saying a lot.

"Well... yah know. We had—", I cut her off.

"Shut up.", I said and threw a pillow her way.

She laughed.

"Come on, we're no longer teenagers.", she said and we both guffawed.

"Whatever.", I said, dismissing the topic but she just won't stop.

"I mean, we're already what? Twenty-five and twenty-six? It's not like we're still a virgin!", she said laughing. My cheeks turned red.

She noticed it and raised a brow at me when I turned silent.

"Are you serious?", she asked in disbelief.

"Of course, I still am!"

"What?! Gosh, don't tell me you haven't been kissed?"
