Time, a thing we can't buy with money.Time, a thing that can't rewind.
Time, a thing that once it's gone, it's gone.
As long as I live, I shall never forget the day my boyfriend was gone... from this world. It had been in my mind for a while that it's reality, it's fate. He's never gonna come back. No matter how hard I tried, reality is reality, he's gone... forever.

I was a bubbly girl that kinda fool around the school, making fun of the teachers and skipping classes to joke around with the discipline master. I was the type that would rather stay 10 metres away from boys than to follow my friends flirt with em' and get called a loner. Boys, to me, are the most disgusting thing alive on earth that are ugly both on the inside and outside. Until then did I know I've had a crush on the popular guy next door to me. He was my neighbour (I didn't know until I found his fans stalk him all the way to his home) and my classmate. Boys, disgusting yet sometimes useful, I'd change my mind. The gorgeous pair of eyes filled with charisma and the tall, strong figure. I've guessed I wasn't the only one that fell for his charms. It went by too fast, how we ended up together after a round of all-messed-up confession, how we had our first date in a dark alley, how we had our first kiss in the car. We've been with each other for almost everyday, how could that sharp sense of mine not realised it? How did I missed out the most important things out of everything? How could I not know that he had powers, especially when he used it almost everytime we were together, I knew he didn't want them to end as fast.

I've been realising the changes in him over the past few months. He've been leaving school early, not even waiting for me anymore. Sometimes I would call him out and asked him if he needed any help as it seemed that something is bothering him. He would, everytime, reply the same thing saying that he's alright and that I don't have to worry about him, which practically made me worried even more. It continued like this until I couldn't help it and went to his house to pay him a visit.I was on his doorstep, holding the box of chocolates I made myself close to my chest. As I reached out to knock on the door, my hand paused in the mid-air when I heard a loud clashing sound from the inside of the house. I glanced into the windows and found that the curtains had been drawn. Biting my lower lips, I decided to not barge into the house out of a sudden. I leaned my ears close to the wooden door and tried hard to capture sounds from the inside. "You know what to do, don't you." I gulped my saliva as I heard an unknown voice from the inside. I leaned even closer, but there wasn't any sound. It took a few seconds before I heard my boyfriend's reply. "No, I don't. Stop bugging me will ya', I told you I won't change my mind." I bit my lower lip yet again, clutching tight on to the box of chocolates. **What does he meant by that?** I was in the midst of my thoughts when the door suddenly yanked opened. The force I exerted on the door caused me to stumble a few steps to the front and fall on to a person's body. When I looked up, I was greeted by Tao's charming face, along with a shocked expression. "W-What are you doing here?" All I could hear was this sentence. I suddenly became all in a fuss. "Errrr... I-I'm here to give you... Umm... This!" I fumbled with the box of chocolates before I could hand them into Tao's hand. He glanced at the chocolate and darted his gaze at me. I could feel him getting paler and paler. Out of the blue, I saw a pair of eyes glowing behind him. That was the last thing I saw before I was knocked out.
I struggled to open my eyes. It twitched when the ray of sunlight enter the vision. I massaged my temples before trying to get up. Nothing had changed so far from where I was knocked out. I was still at the same spot. I quickly glanced around only to find no sight of Tao. Panic attacked me as I called out continuously for him, "Tao! Tao!" I then realised the house door was on its lock again. I banged the door hard, unable to control my weak body. I ended up giving up as I knew a person like me who couldn't even lift my own bag would never succeed in barging through a door.

Just then, I heard a loud crashing and banging sound from the inside. I started to become anxious. I hurriedly leaned towards the door, hoping to hear anything but just as I came in contact with the door, it burst open, out came flying, was Tao. I was startled at first but quickly went over to give Tao a hand. "W-What's happening?" I stuttered, seeing Tao covered in wounds and bruises. "Why are you still here? Go away or else-" He didn't had time to complete his sentence, he went up and pulled me to his chest as soon as he saw another dark magic ball flying in my way. I turned up to take a closer look. Tao had already stood up, shielding me. "KKA!, (Y/N), KKA!" He turned his head back time to time, urging me to leave the place as quick as possible. He was covered in cold sweat at that time. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't possibly leave him there to deal with this unknown man I swore I had never seen which is attacking my dear boyfriend. As soon as I saw another ball of dark magic fly in Tao's way, I stumbled a few steps back, but in the end still plucked out my courage and stood in front of Tao. I shut my eyes tight and spread out my arms. "STOP HURTING TAO!" I swore it was the dumbest, yet most courageous decision I've ever made. Tao widened his eyes at me, not even having the time to react, I was hit, right in the heart.

An instant pain could be felt on my body as it sent electric shocks down my spine. I clutched onto my chest and slowly, fell onto the ground. My vision started to turn blur and I struggled to stay awake. The last thing I knew was that I heard Tao calling for my name again and again, eyes filled with tears to the brim.I woke up in an unidentified place, the place was white, totally white. I could barely see anything except for white. I only knew I was hit there, on the heart, and I ended up in this sort of place. I rubbed my forehead for a while, trying to recall how did I end up here. That moment, a blur, foggy screen appeared in front of me. The image wasn't clear, but I could roughly see a figure in the image. No doubt, it was Tao. I went up closer as soon as I saw the latter. Placing my hand on the screen, the background became clearer, showing a complete picture of Tao on a high edge of a cliff, the sky all dark. I widened my eyes and examined the person in the view. "Tao..." I mumbled to myself as I caressed the screen. Miraculously, my fingers went through the screen. I locked my gaze at this magical effect. The other edge of my fingers that managed to enter the screen felt extremely cold, which I suppose was the temperature of the scene in the image. I pushed my entire hand in, gradually, my whole body entered the frame. I felt a hard impact on my body, as if I got pulled by a strong current, I ended up on a hard, cold ground. I lifted my head and looked up, finding Tao standing at the edge of the cliff. I pushed my body and tried hard to stand still. "...Tao?" I gently called out as the strong wind blew by and made me shiver. Tao froze for several seconds before making his next move to turn around. "(Y/N)?" He gasped when he saw my face. All I knew was that he dashed up to me and gave me a tight hug, then I felt my shoulders wet. "What... happened?" I placed my cold, freezing hand onto Tao's back, trying to comfort him a little. "It'll never be back to normal again, won't it? You will never come back to me again, will you?" Tao spoke. I glanced to him and reached my hands out to carress his face but soon stop my hand mid-air when I found out that I could see through it. I was vanishing. Tao brought his face up again and his ugly sobs made his face looks disfigured. He tried to run his hand through my hair but it went through my body. He bit his lower lips hard, knowing what he is seeing is real. "What's happening to me? Tao?" I asked as I tried to grab his hand, but to no avail. I brought my hand up and examined it, slowly perishing. "You're dead (Y/N), but you... came back to me. I'm sorry I shouldn't have dragged you into this, it's all my fault." I dropped my hand and switched my gaze back to Tao's charming face. "I'm... what?" I asked, rather confused. "You," Tao continued between sobs, "are dead. I don't know how or why you are here but, I'm glad I-I could see you the second time..." his words faded as he turned to wipe his tears. "I know you had already realised, I have powers, the power of time control... That day, the magic lord came to find me, I had to go with him back to my world. I couldn't stay on earth any longer... H-He requested me to end your life b-because he suspected you know everything. My powers, my ability... everything. I couldn't pull myself to do so and moreover it's me killing my own girlfriend that I loved with all my life with my bare hands." I looked at him dearly and clasped my fist tight together, I was fading more and more. "The last thing I can do for you, is to exchange my life, for yours." Tao said, staring into my eyes. I was flustered, I immediately stood up when I saw Tao doing the same. "Tao, no, DON'T!" I wanted to grab on to his hand and stop him but my disappearing body just went through his. He ran up to the edge of the cliff once again and lifted his hand high up in the air. "Tao!" I tried to keep up with him but my weak body just fell flat on to the ground again. I hated myself that moment. I hated myself for being so weak, I hated myself for not being able to do anything everytime. I didn't want him to sacrifice for me, I knew I had to do something. I tried to get up, wanting to get over to Tao as quick as possible before I disappear of he exchange his life with mine. But that split second, a beam of light pierced through my eyes. All the happy memories I had with him flashed through my mind and before I even knew, it all went white.
I slowly opened my eyes, blinking a few times. As I examined the place. The sky wasn't dark anymore and I could see the sun. It was warm here, as if the sun was embracing me. I turned as I heard a gently and soft click sound beside me. It was that thing. The thing that Tao always carried along. It was shaped of a hourglass, with small little details on it. As soon as I reached my hand out to grab it, I realised something. My hands weren't fading anymore, it was opaque. Then it hit me. I immediately stood up and scanned the surrounding. Tao, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Please tell me he didn't really exchange his life for mine, tell me he didn't!" I screamed my lungs out. I clutched the metallic symbol close to my chest and my legs gave way. I plopped on to the ground and cried out loud. I could feel something, or maybe someone, appeared behind me and gave me a soft touch on my hair. That idiot, soon dispersed into the air and left me alone in this world. **A certain idiot always told me to treasure our time together because maybe someday, you wouldn't know what will happen, we might not be able to see each other again.** ||END||
