The glaring hot sun filtered through the curtain at my window. I squint my eyes at the brightness of the sun and snuggled into my blanket. After a few minutes of lying in the bed, i realised that today was my day! The day that i turned 19! I jump out of the bed and grab my phone on my bedside table. I received tons of message from my friends, wishing me happy birthday but none of it was from my boyfriend, Chanyeol.

Although i was happy that my friend actually remembered my birthday but at the same time, i felt slightly disappointed that Chanyeol forgot my birthday. My phone suddenly vibrated, i took a look at my screen, what written as the contact name was "Uri Yoda". I answered the phone immediately, "OPPA!" i said excitedly. " O-oh Jagiya, Saengichuga! M-mianhae but i could not meet you today though it's your big day" he reply, slightly stuttering but i decided to brush it off.

"A-ah is that so? It's okay then, thanks for your wish anyway, saranghae, annyeong! " i said, trying to hide the sadness in my voice. "jinja mianhae jagiya, annyeong. " with that, he hung up the call without even saying a 'nado saranghae'. * that's weird, he usually would say that he love me but nah, maybe not today ... * i thought to myself. I felt really upset not because we could not meet today but also his attitude towards me just now.

I walked to the bathroom and did my morning routine. After finishing, i walk down to the kitchen and found my mother cooking breakfast and my father sitting at the dining table with a newspaper in his hand. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N)-AH!" they say in unison as soon as they saw me. I sit down at the dining table and wait for my breakfast.

-fast forward-

After I was done with my breakfast, i walked back to my room and prepared for work. I walked out of the house after bading goodbye to my parents and walk to the bubble tea shop that i work in.

After working for hours, it's finally time for me to go home. I pick up my bag and walk out of the shop, but before i go home, i decided to pay Chanyeol a surprise visit. Thinking of Chanyeol's surprise face when he see me made my steps became light and bouncy as i walk.

-arriving at chanyeol's house-

I put my hand on the door knob but the door was lock. I turn my head and look up at his bedroom window to find that the light is still on which is a sign that he's at home.

I put my hand into my bag and searched for the spare key that Chanyeol gave me. I put the key into the keyhole and twisted it. The living room of his house was pitch black. Since i knew that he's in his bedroom, i decided to check on him. Im on my way to his room when i heard noises coming out from his room so i fastened my pace. I turn the door knob slowly and open an inch of his bedroom door. The gap is big enough for me to look in the room but also small enough for the people on the other side not to notice my presence. The scene infront of me is shocking enough for me to drop my bag on the floor. Chanyeol was... || TBC ||
