-21- Catch Snow

You were walking on the path in the cold weather with your best friend. It was near winter, very near. "Tao-ah, its already Christmas, why hasn't it snow?" You asked, tilting your head towards Tao. Tao continued looking down, putting his hands in his pocket. "I don't know either, the weather these days are weird." He shivered, "it's cold but has no snow." You giggled a little. As you both continued to walk, the atmosphere became quiet. "Let's... just go to the park." Tao broke the awkwardness. You shyly nodded, blushing really hard as it was your first time spending Christmas with a boy,  alone.

As you reached the park, you dashed towards the swing at the playground. You quickly sat on the swing and started to play. Tao chuckled as he made his way to you. "You're still so childish." You stopped and look at him, "It's not childish okay? I love playing with the swings." You pouted.

Just then, something white flew down right in front of your eyes. Your attention got caught immediately. You looked up and more started to come down. You lifted your hands high up in the air and allowed them to land on it. "Tao... it's snowing!" You mentally jumped in joy. Tao looked up and lift his hands up too. "Yea...finally..." He watched as the snow melted at the heat of his hands. "Make a wish." He suddenly said. "W-What?" You were confused a little. "Make a wish." Tao repeated. You looked at him for a few seconds, signaling for a reason. Tao sighed and said, "Aish... just make a wish." You, who is still confused, nodded and made a wish. You eyed Tao, who was mesmerized in the scene of snowflakes falling down, before intertwining your hands together and closing our eyes. Tao secretly glanced at you, and then looking up to make his wish too. **I wish... I can be with Tao forever and ever and ever.** You wished. Tao made a wish too. When you opened your eyes. Tao asked you, "What wish did you make?" You was takened aback by this question. You didn't dare to tell him. Flashing back at the wish you made, you blushed. Tao raised one of his eyebrows, "(Y/N)? What's wrong?" You quickly waved your hands in front of him. "N-Nothing much, I just wished for... my... family to have good health." You lied. "Oh." Tao seemed rather disappointed.

This time it was your turn to ask him. "What was your wish then?" You looked at him in the eyes. Tao looked back at you, biting his lips hard in nervousness. "Hmm?" You positioned your fists below your chin, excited to know. Tao avoided eye contact almost instantly. "I-I wish to be with you forever." You could see Tao's face flushed red. You stared into his eyes seriously. Tao was sweating cold sweat. "I-I'm just being honest okay?!" Tao ended and turned to walk away. "Tao!" You called out to him. Tao stopped in his step, "If you're gonna think that I'm weird then-" Tao couldn't finished as you pulled him into a hug. Tao took a few steps back, flustered. "Then... should I be regretful because I lied?" You pouted. Tao looked at you, "What do you mean?" You giggled and broke the hug. "I meant... I lied about my wish..." You started to play with your fingers. "T-Then..." Tao wanted to ask but he couldn't continue. You looked at him again, locking eye contact. "I wished that I could be with you," You paused for a while, "forever and ever and EVER!" You confessed, smashing your lips on his. Tao was startled, he pulled you back. "(Y/N)..." You wanted to cry so badly, not that you were happy that he sort of like you back but you thought he pulled you back because he thought of you as a friend, nothing more. "Tao..." Your words become shaky. "Yah... don't cry... its not like I dislike you or what..." Tao's words faded. You snatched his chance of talking before he could open his mouth, "So you're willing to give me a chance? Just please... I've been keeping my feelings for you for a very long time... I can't..." You clutched tightly onto Tao coat. Tao softened, "(Y/N) look at me." He said it firm. You let go of his coat and wipe your tears away. "Ahh... why am I like this, I'm so naive. I should've known-" "(Y/N) LOOK AT ME!" Tao yelled, holding your shoulders tight. You shivered and slowly turned to his direction. Before you even know, he softly placed his lips on yours. You blinked several times. Tao slowly parted his lips. "I love you, (Y/N)..." Instead of reacting the right way, you burst out laughing. "Bwoya! You scared me for a moment pabo!" You laughed and pushed Tao to the ground, which is already filled with a thick layer of snow. Tao sank a little in the snow and you stayed on top of him. "(Y/N)! What are you doing?" Tao's reaction was priceless. You placed your index finger on his lips. "Shhh, Jagi." You emphasized on the word 'Jagi' and scooped a handful of snow onto his face. "Let's play!" || END ||
