"(Y/N)-ah!" I darted my sight over as I heard a familiar voice calling out for my name, pushing her arms around me. "Oh Yasmin-ah." I greeted. Yasmin is my bestfriend since diapers, we did almost everything together, some people even thought that we are lesbians, which... sadly isn't true. "Hey (Y/N)-ah," she started off, "meet me at the rooftop during break time, I have something really important to tell you!" she exclaimed, smiling brightly at me. "What is it?" I asked curiously, raising my eyebrow at the sight of Yasmin being so excited. "Seeeeecccreeetttttt!" She mysteriously whispered before leaving to somewhere else.

-break time-

I could not concentrate during lesson just now, curious of what Yasmin wanted to tell me. She just seemed so elated, it was rare to see her like that. I sprinted up the stairs to the rooftop as quick as possible. When I reached my destination, I swung open the door, only to find Yasmin with......Chen, my crush since grade 1. 'What is Chen doing here?' I asked myself, there isn't a valid reason Yasmin should be with Chen when she wanted to tell me and only me something important. "Hi (Y/N)." Chen greeted me with a bright smile plastering on his beautiful face. "H-hi" I said, trying hard not to sound awkward but failed. "(Y/N)-ah, I have a good news for you!" Yasmin said happily, breaking the awkward atmosphere. "What is..." i stop talking when Chen pushed his left arm around Yasmin's waist. "Chen and I are officially together!" Yasmin announced, gladly hugging Chen back. I was totally lost by her words. **She... what? Wae... she promised...** I gradually tried to ignore the sweet scene infront of me, managing to pull some words out from my mouth. "i-is it? C-Congrats then" I uttered, trying to hold back the tears that are at the brim of my eyes. "Yasmin-ah, can I...perhaps...have a small talk with you? " I asked with a fake smile, darting my eyes at Chen time to time. "Sure!" With that, Chen left to give us some privacy. Just as he stepped out, I started the commotion. "Waeyo Yasmin-ah? You know he's my crush! You did it on purpose didn't you?" I hollered at her as tears started dripping down my cheeks. Hearing what I just said, Yasmin just smirked at me and replied, "You really think he'll like you back? Seriously? I think you should look at yourself in the mirror first before having that thought and, I've told Chen about your little crush on him." she giggled sarcasticly. That's it, I've had enough. The last thing I knew I clenched my fist and bellowed straight into her face, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY BESTFRIEND! I TRUSTED YOU! YOU PROMISED TO HELP ME! HOW COULD YOU..." She cut me off, "Listen, you were never my friend from the very start, I was forced to be friends with you because of my parents, and promise is meant to be broken. Well, to let you know the truth, I've never like Chen, I just used him. Since you like him, I'm just trying to take him away from y-" I cut her off with a hard slap, I grabbed her hard on the collar "NOW YOU LISTEN," I shouted at the top of my lungs, "IF I EVER SEE YOU HURTING HIM, I WILL PERSONALLY MURDER YOU WITH MY BARE HANDS." I ended. My veins in my eyes were shooting out, so hard I could barely even have any chance to blink. I stared straight and sternly into Yasmin's eyes. Slowly, from a pair of anger-filled eyes, it turned soft and watery. "He's not a tool... he isn't meant to..." and then I burst into tears, hurriedly leaving the rooftop, oblivious to the fact that someone had overheard our conversation.

- Next day-

I was wearing a heavy heart as I reached the gate of the school. Dragging my feet to enter the gate, I bumped into someone. Looking up, two girls stood infront of me and blocked my way. Looking at each other several times, they started off, "Yah, isn't this (Y/N)?" one of them said, looking at me with that killer eyes. The two of them are Yasmin's friends, I often saw Yasmin hanging around with them. "Yeah, I heard from Yasmin that she tried to steal Chen from her." The other one said, darting her attention back to me again. **what the? me? steal Chen?** I mentally rolled my eyes and walked pass them, planning to be mute and escape off to my class. Those are a bunch of idiots, no point talking to them and waste my saliva. Passing by the corridors, I accidentally overheard rumors saying that Chen broke up with Yasmin in the morning. Well, that's sudden. I mean like, they just told me they were together yesterday and not even 24hours has passed and they broke up? I wonder why...
