Baekhyun stand outside the tall building of Namsan Tower, tapping his foot impatiently. He brought his wrist near his face and look at his wristwatch with a slight furrowed eyebrows. ** Where is she? Its our first time spending Christmas together and she is already late?** He took out his phone this time, searching through the contact list and before calling you.
you: Oh oppa... sorry I'm driving now, please wait for a few minutes.
Baek: Yah! you're already late for 25 minutes? When exactly did you leave y- **screechhh bang** that's the sound he heard before the line was cut.
Baek: yeoboseyo? yeoboseyo?! Jagiya?!
thinking of the screeching sound made him anxious.
Baekhyun began walking back and fro continuously while checking his phone from time to time. He immediately picked up his phone when it rang and spoke,"yeoboseyo? Jagiya you okay?!" what he heard next manage to make him broke down crying. He ran to the hospital while the words that the other line said kept repeating in his mind. 'Miss (Y/F/N) has got into a car accident' 'Miss (Y/F/N) has got into a car accident' 'Miss (Y/F/N) has got into a car accident'.
- at the hospital -
He dashed towards the counter and asked, "excuse me, can i know where (Y/F/N) is?" "She's in the emergency room right n-" without letting the nurse finished her sentence, Baekhyun dashed off to the emergency room.
Just as he reached the place, the doctor came out. Baekhyun ran up to him and grabbed his sleeves. "H-how is she?" he asked with teary eyes, hoping to know that you're alright. The doctor look down before answering, "I'm sorry, she didn't make-" "You've gotta be kidding me, she's alive right? She is right?" Baekhyun grip around the sleeves tightened. He forced a smile on his face although tears was already streaming down his cheeks. The doctor shook his head before walking off, leaving Baekhyun alone. Baekhyun dropped to the ground and he cried even harder He grabbed his hair tightly. **I shouldn't have rushed her... I shouldn't have...I'm sorry...** he thought, blaming himself. "I haven't even showed you the surprise yet..." || END ||
