Chapter 24(Run!!!)

I went to the kitchen and wondered how Freya serves everyone dinner, I don't seem to understand how she does it. The inside and outside guards are more than 20, excluding Xander, Xavier, Addi, and Xander's left-hand man, Dylan, who was sent on a mission two months ago. According to Freya, he is currently in Italy with some kind of mafias.

It's not that I am really hungry, I just wanted to show helping hands to Freya. It's like I will go back to my room in order not to create a mess for myself.

I left the kitchen and went to my room, I sat on my bed staring at the space thinking of what to do.

For a second, I thought of Xavier, is he not back from where he went to? Or he is in his room? I shoved it off as I stood up and went to the window. It's just 7 pm and the guards are seen laughing and playing.

Everyone is laughing and playing in their comfort, I should create one for myself also.

I stood to take off my clothes and went to the bathroom, I turn on the shower as the water ran down my body. I Left the bathroom and dried myself with a towel, I do wash my hair once a while here as there's not a hair dryer to dry It up, it's stressful letting it dry up itself as it will be scratching me.

I sat down on the chair and faced the dressing mirror, I checked myself I have changed a little bit. Who will not change? No hot sun, Classic food, the body cream suit my skin, living under air condition, No stress.

I need to bring out the beauty in me, I stood up as I went to the drawer to check the makeup kit, everything is still intact.

I wore my nightgown, locked the door carefully sat on my bed then went into my Dreamland.

Noises were coming into my ear, as I opened my eyes. I checked the time it was 8 am, and someone tell me I do not sleep from 8-8, and I need to be carefully tested.

I went to the bathroom, brush my teeth, and, cleaned my face.

I am seriously hungry right now!

I left for the kitchen. On getting there I met them! Xander, Addi, Xavier, and Freya are in the kitchen.

I stopped on my track, I quickly took a step back as I turned back, I was about tip-toeing when I heard Freya's voice.

"Girl, you are up!" Freya said with a loud voice.

It feels like I am beside a hot oven the moment I had her voice, why the hell did she have to call me? Now, I will have to face these guys.

I am just on a skimpy nightgown, and jeez! I am fucked up right now.

I feel like crying right now.

I sluggishly took my step back to the kitchen,

"Good morning everyone," I said smiling as they all face me with different thoughts running through their minds.

They are all dressed up and, I am still in my nightgown.

"Erm, I... I will go... I have a running stomach I.. toilet...I need to use the restroom" I said rushing out of the kitchen.

I didn't even wait to hear their replies as I dash into my room, I am sure Usain bolt won't be able to catch up with my speed at that moment.

I sat on my bed breathing hard, shit! that was so close.

I quickly went inside the bathroom, I had a quick bath. I came out of the bathroom with a towel as I sat on my bed laughing at myself.

I dried my hair with the hand towel, and as I sat to apply the body cream to my skin, I can say my skin is glowing these past days.

My stomach gurgled, I need to eat. I went to the wardrobe as I search for what to wear. I picked a singlet crop top, black leggings and a short jacket, perfect!.

I can say all the clothes here are new, some are still with the tag and some have this "I am new look", I wonder how many days Sophia spent in this room that made her not wear the clothes she bought or Xander bought, anyhow.

I combed my hair, as I applied the hair cream to it. I sat on the chair as I thought of applying makeup on my face, but No, not today, maybe tomorrow.

I checked myself for the umpteenth time, I am good looking and the name that kept crossing my mind as I was dressing up was Xavier, I don't know when it started, but all I could think of is I want to look good for him.

"Perfect," I said after applying lip gloss to my lips.

With my shapely figure coupled with my glossy skin and my wasp-waisted, I know I am good.

I left for the kitchen

I met Freya only in the kitchen,  as I muttered thank God. She looked back to see me coming and gave me a welcoming smile.

One thing about Freya is she likes smiling, her smiles are always warm and contagious.

"Are you done with the toilet now, Miss running stomach?" She said sarcastically.

I smiled.

"Someone looks beautiful this morning," she said.

"For real?" I asked feeling happy.

"Uhnuhn," she said.

"Go, Girl!," I said to myself.

"Thank God you came a bit earlier I am preparing noodles for two," She said.

"Oh, I am damn hungry," I told her tiredly.

"Where are they?" I asked Freya.

"Who?" She said acting in ignorance.

I rolled my eyes "THEM!"

"Oh, They will be coming soon, You wanna see them?" she said winking at me.

"You are crazy," I told her as I walked to the cooking noodles on gas.

"Are they coming?" I asked again.

"Not sure," She said doing some dancing steps.

My stomach gurgled again,

"You are really hungry," she told.

I nodded my head, thank God I am not even feeling pain in my stomach unlike before and I haven't even used my ulcer drugs. I hope it remains that way. I am tired of using those drugs, and I don't even have the money to get them myself.

I need to ask Xander about Luke.

"It's ready!"Freya said in a singing manner.

I smiled and dash to pick up my plates, I went to Freya and started jumping up like a baby.

"Thank you," I said when she dished out my food.

I placed it on the cabinet as I dug into it and started eating not minding the degree of hotness in it.
