Freya was on her knees applying ice to my torn knees, I rested my back as I was making a low wimp.
I forgot I am not good with heels, I haven't even worn one before apart from wedges that my mum bought for me when she was still alive.
"Sorry dear," Freya said, patting my back.
"I have rested enough, let me use it to walk," I told Freya.
Thank God it was a minor tear, it wouldn't have been too good. I will just be the spoiler of the party and Xavier will blame himself for buying those heels.
I walked perfectly well, and I faced a worried Freya, " I am fine, already" I told her.
"Are you sure?" She asked me slowly.
I nodded.
"Okay, let's check the outfit out," She said.
I nodded and turned in the direction of where the clothes were placed.
I picked my dress and I was wowed, it was a blue body con dress. I will have to wear it to know how fitted it is. I looked at Freya's she had already worn the dress, so fast. I guess Freya is the type of person that doesn't keep their dress for a specific occasion when they just bought it.
"How is it,?" She asked me to make a 360 turn.
" You look great as always," I said as she walked stylishly in the sequence and glittery dress she wore. It was shining which made it look more attractive.
These guys have a good taste in picking women's dresses,
"Xavier has good taste in picking clothes," I said.
"Uhm, yeah. He told me to pick a dress for myself but he picked yours, he asked if the style was beautiful and I told him yes" She said.
Wait, Wait… You mean Xavier picked the dress I wore?
Wow,
"So you guys planned it,?" I asked, folding my hand.
"It was in the morning you ran off as if you were being chased, he wanted to tell you but he decided to keep it as a surprise," She said, blowing me a kiss.
"So you people can be this secretive huh?".
She laughed," Go shower up, so we can start preparing. It's 8 already and we have an hour and some minutes left to prepare," She said.
"Okay," I said slowly as I sluggishly went to the bathroom.

I was done bathing and Freya entered the bathroom also, shit I didn't take my body cream and undies. I checked Freya's trolley and she uses a different cream. I am actually in love with the cream I am using as it matches my skin well, I guess Sophia and I have the same skin tone.
"Freya, I am coming, I need to get my cream," I said without thinking twice as I dash off.
I got to the middle of the way then I realized, I am dumb! Who goes around with a short towel in a house full of guys? Well, Ava Baker just did.
I quickly went to my room and made sure no one saw me. I think everyone is out because to get prepared for the party, the house is quiet.
I picked my body cream then my undies, and I left the room. I looked down the passage, and I swear down I saw a figure this time around staring down at me.
The person left quickly and also dressed in black like always, I am so scared right now. The undies and body cream plastic I held in my hand fell.
My heart is beating fast right now, what the hell is happening right now?
I need to talk this out, this is getting scarier than I thought.
I picked up my undies and ran down the hallway. I was scared to take the left turn because that's where the person ran to. I peeped slowly with my heart beating fast and my hand was sweaty.
Addi came out of the room and I felt calm at that moment, at least for now.
I ran past him, as he wondered what the hell was happening. Of course, he will be surprised to see me on a towel. I opened Freya's door, and closed it loudly, breathing heavily.
"What happened,?" Freya asked worriedly.
"I—, I have been feeling someone staring at me and when I went to take my stuff it felt like the person followed me, and when I wanted to close the door I saw the person staring at me down the hallway," I said with a low voice and trying to catch my breath.
She looked at me carefully," since when have you been seeing that person?".
"I started having feelings when Xavier and I went for a walk then,?". I said as I sat on her bed.
"One thing I know is that you can't be hurt here, every man here will protect you with their life,"
"It might be one of those men that secretly admires you, but once he knows Xavier is into you he will back off," She said and I reasoned with it.
"True tho," I said.
I sat on the bed and creamed my body, then also wore my undies. After I was done Freya looked at me and brought the makeup kit out.
"Let's make you beautiful," She said.
She sat me down and started applying makeup on my face. I sat patiently waiting for the results as this was the first time I will be applying makeup on my face.
After what seemed like forever, she was done. I looked in the mirror and I saw a different person entirely. I am not even Ava Baker again because the Ava Baker I am seeing inside the mirror is dangerously beautiful, hot, and wild. My straight black hair was perfectly moisturized and brushed.
I looked at Freya, with a baby face looking like I wanted to cry. I stood up and hugged her, "Thank you," I said to her.
"Yo, Yo that's the benefit of having a big sister and a Friend in one person," She said dramatically fanning herself.
I smiled.
Then I wore my dress, and she started putting makeup on her face, she used less than 15 mins and I was wowed. The makeup brought out another dimension in her, she looked feisty before but now the makeup made it hotter and it will burn you if you are not careful enough.
Addi will feed his eyes and body well tonight because this is extra gorgeous.
Damnit!
I told her I want to wear flat slippers, and she said no, that it doesn't match well with my outfit, I was scared of heels already.
We checked the time, it was 9:20 already.
"Okay, then you have 30 mins to master how to walk in heels," She said, brushing her hair.
"We will go to your room to see if there are any pump heels," she said.
"Okay," I said.
She made sure Xavier or Xander or Addi wasn't on the passage when we were going to my room. She said she wanted our looks to be a surprise package for them.
Luckily, we got to our room and saw the heel she was looking for, Pumps 85mm heel. I wore it and it's much better than the stiletto.
She taught me how to walk in heels confidently, and as a fast learner, I grabbed it immediately.
She added some tips in telling me what I had to do to get Xavier to notice me, I understood it perfectly as my life depends on it.
We laughed and got ready for the party.
