Freya continued gisting me and I was wowed, honestly, I can't wait to witness the party also.
But isn't Xander's celebration a little bit weird? With the little things I have seen and heard the birthday party is always held on D-Day, not the night before.
"Freya, why does Xander wants to hold the birthday party before D-Day?, isn't it on the day they hold birthday party,?" I Interrupted Freya.
"Well, I guess that's how it's always done for them, I don't know actually, Maybe that's how they believe in celebrating their birthday," Freya said shrugging her shoulder.
Ohh, Okay.
"What about Xavier, does he celebrates his birthday," I asked her.
"Xavier," She said and laughed.
"I have never heard him talk of birthday before, that guy, Never!" She said covering her mouth.
"Xavier begins to soften up not too long, " She shook her head "Before girl hmm, I don't know how to describe him. He is always hard on everyone, even his trusted men," Freya said.
"But-he isn't like that before right," I asked Freya slowly.
"Well, he isn't like that when I came. Xavier is the type of person that isn't close or far to you, he can make you feel comfortable and make you feel uncomfortable; that was when I first came. But suddenly everything just changed and he became unreadable, unreachable, cold looks and everything that can make someone to be less humane, everyone was scared of him at that moment"
"Xander was always being careful of him then too, Xavier doesn't go out of his room at all only on occasions and Xander must follow him.
Xander told me the rules of serving his food whenever he is bathing so I won't be in trouble and I kept to the rule carefully because you won't dare mess with him," She said shaking her head.
"I guess you haven't seen him angry before, the way he will be staring at you will feel like you are with the devil's son," She said
And I chuckled.
"I have experienced part or little, I once provoked him and he strangled me. I almost died that day if not for Xander's intervention" I said as goosebumps filled my skin.
"Hmmph, that's Xavier for you," She said as she left the bed.
She checked the wall clock and said it was almost 2, I looked at the wall also. The day has passed by quickly.
"When it's 7, We will start dressing up for the party it's going to start by 10, I will come and check up on you," She said as she wore are flip flop "I need to find Addi so I can know what he has for me tonight," She said winking at me.
I smiled softly, "Okay," I said.
She walked to the door slowly, opened it, and left my room. I sighed as I lay on my bed with my legs up.
Suddenly the door opened again, I looked at it and it was Freya,
"Xavier is back and he is coming in this direction," She said quickly and closed the door.
I stood up quickly from my bed as my heart raced fast, I don't know what to do at this moment.
"Is he coming to my room"? I asked myself.
I quickly look around to see if there was any untidiness in the room, but there was not. I arranged my bed well and sat quietly swallowing hard.
The steps keep getting closer, I lay on my bed and did as If I was sleeping with my heart beating fast.
A soft knock landed on the door and I knew who it was, I took a deep breath and answered.
"Come in," I said still laying down with my back facing the door.
The door opened and I turned to look at the person, of course I know he is the one.
"Sleeping,?" He asked.
"Erm, No," I said and stood up.
He came inside and locked the door quietly. He looked around the room and then sat down on the bed.
The moment he sat down on the bed, it feels like my heart also sat with him.
This guy!!!
"It's been a long time since I came here, the room has your scents now," He said looking around and smiling.
Gosh! He is handsome.
"Uhm," I said looking at my leg as I stylishly play with my hair.
"You are done with what you wanted to do," I asked slowly looking at him.
"Yeah, I decided to come here instead to spend my afternoon," He said as he lay on my bed.
Ava, you can do it! Yes, can! Just hold on a little bit longer.
"That's nice," I said.
He then started staring at my legs, his neck wasn't far from my legs. I slowly withdraw my legs from his side and sat on it.
He smirked.
"Less I forgot, I got you snacks," He said standing up from the bed as he touched his jacket. He brought it out and carefully hid it at his back.
I was curious about what he bought.
"Close your eyes and guess," He said smiling.
Xavier is at it again, teasing me!
I looked at him eyeing him slowly.
"I guess you don't want the snacks then," He said as if he wants to leave the room.
I quickly closed my eyes, " Good Girl," He said.
"Now guess," he said.
How the hell will I know the snacks he bought?
"Tim Tam" I blurted out.
"Oh, oh, oh," He said clapping his hand.
I opened my eyes and I now saw Tim Tam Original on the bed, and it was just an ordinary one, it was the family pack!
"Oh, My God," I shouted excitedly as I quickly took the snack.
"Thank you," I looked at him, I felt like hugging him but I pulled back not wanting to do much.
I wasn't expecting this from him honestly, and the fact that Tim Tam is my favorite snack made it sweeter.
"Thank you," I said again as I chewed on it silently and quietly.
I never knew Xavier is the type that knows things about snacks. His eyes were never leaving my face as he was smiling.
"Do you also eat snacks," I asked him.
"I used to when I was in high school, but Xander does," He said.
Ohh,
"How did you know about the snacks then, "I asked him.
"Well, I branched at the supermarket to get some things, So I felt like taking candy. I went to the section then I found a little boy crying and his mom. I paid attention to why he is crying then I realized he wants a snack, he was pointing at a particular biscuit. I moved closer to them and asked the woman why the little boy is crying, she said he wants a snack and they have run out of cash" He said looking at me.
He continued," So, I told the boy to pick anyone he wants. He was so happy and picked the Tim Tam biscuits, " He said.
"I was interested in it, so I picked it up since I also have a baby in my custody she might like it also, we can't say," He said smiling at me.
Did he just call me a baby? This guy!
"I am a big girl, not a baby," I told him as if I want to hit him.
"Said someone who is whining like a baby," He said laughing.
"It's not your fault," I said and shove the biscuits in my mouth looking at him dangerously.
He started at me seductively, licking his lower lips then winked at me.
Holy ghost fire! This guy will kill me.
