Amity's POV

I 'woke up' when the car stopped and the door slammed shut. My door opened first while I was rubbing my eyes before looking around. The medium sized cabin in front of me looked like it could fall down by a big gust of wind. "Mister Viktor where are we?" I asked raising my arms to him. I braced myself for his touch as he picked me up. "We are at a safe place. Your mommy called saying we needed to come here." Viktor lied smoothly throughout his explanation. He grabbed my backpack carrying me in the cabin to a small bedroom. "Your mommy said you are to stay here. Can you be a good girl and do that?" Viktor lied. I nodded my head yes looking around the room quickly before crawling onto the bed. Viktor left the room closing the door.

The room had a clock hanging on the wall by the door that said 6pm, a small old TV with a DVD player attached on a small dresser. There was a window facing the front yard where I watched Viktor stand waiting for something from the bed. It was half an hour later when two black expeditions arrived revealing four more people. It was then they pulled the unconscious guards from the car to the house. Once they were out of view from the window I started knocking on the door calling out repeatedly "Mister Viktor can I use the potty?"

I heard someone talking in a different language on the other side say "Viktor your job is babysitting the pest. Once these two wake up in the morning we will start interrogating." Viktor was irritated by this starting to complain but couldn't even get a word out before another person spoke in the same language say "Do do not test me." I yelled again whining "Please I gotta go potty!" When he still didn't answer I opened the door peeking my head out while calling out "Mister Viktor! Mister Viktor can I come out?! I gotta go potty!" I made sure too look around before landing my gaze on the four them sounding surprised while saying "Oh! Are you Mister Viktor's friends too?" I said while staring at the four of them.

However, before anyone could answer I asked dancing slightly with my legs crossed, "Can you take me to the potty?? I don't know where Mister Viktor is and it's an emergency!" "Come on kid," said the same guy who said not to test him. I quickly went to him grabbing his hand after stepping over Enzo who was on the floor in front of him. As he led me away I said "Mister Enzo and Mister Vincenzo are great sleepers. Are you here to ground them for mommy because they sleeping when they supposed to be with me? What's your name? Do you wanna be friends with me too? Do you know if mommy is going to let us come back? Do you like chocolate chips? I like chocolate chips. Do you think I can play games on Mister Enzo's phone? Mister Viktor took Mister Vincenzo phone so I can't play his. Ooh! Potty!" I exclaimed dropping his hand and running the few feet to the door before shutting it with a slam.

After I was done using the bathroom and washing my hands I opened the door to an empty hallway. I couldn't help but smile to myself as I heard the don't test me guy yelling at Viktor before a muffled gun shot was heard. I waited about thirty seconds before calling out "How do I get back to my room?" I waited until I saw the don't test me guy come back. "Hi! Are you taking me back to my room? What's your name? I'm Amity!" I chattered quickly stopping so he could talk. "Come on kid" was all he said. "What's your name?" Was continuously coming from my mouth the whole way down the stairs to the first floor. I could see that he was getting annoyed but kept asking the whole way across the first floor to the room by the door. His jaw was clenched and his hands were balled up into clenched fists. "Can the door stay opened a little? I don't like the dark and mommy must have forgot a night light." I said stepping into the room. "No" was all I got as a response before he shut the door in my face. A second later I heard the lock click in place.

I just sat by the door listening to their conversation for hours. It was 1am by the time a steady silence carried through the cabin. I opened by backpack taking my medicines before getting out a bobby pin. I went to the door turning the lock on the doorknob before exiting the room. I looked through the downstairs quickly and quietly. There was nothing to find down here really. I saw canned food that has collected a few layers of dust and some basic cooking items. This was a safe house just not one of my ours.
