Two weeks have passed Christmas was hectic with all of the families over, but it was crazy fun compared to the last few I spent alone. The two leaders from the ball came to their senses and signed the alliance agreement with me at seeing the utter desolation of the one who walked out instantly. It was a day before New Year's Eve as Cassady talked me into going clubbing for girl time. My fiancés agreed but I had to take Anne with me as a responsible person because they still didn't trust Theodore to keep me in line. I invited Sofia to come as well so it would be a little harder for Anne to watch us all. The other stipulation my fiancés had was it was only to be at Darius's newer club that Derek and Tyler ran. The night had promise to be great fun as the club had a drag queen hosting New Year's festivities all weekend. We were being taken in two separate cars with another two cars full of guards for the night.

Anne made plans for us to all eat out for dinner before we hit the club. I order a cheeseburger with extra pickles and endless French fries. I was talking with the girls about how weird my eating habits have been and recently started to get sick every morning or sometimes throughout the day. "Amity when did you last have a period?" Anne questioned. "I don't know. Last month?" I answered in a question myself unsure. "Ginger are you pregnant?" Cassady asked causing me to choke on my fry. "Amity it sounds like you are. After you're done eating we'll go get a pregnancy test, if you want." Sofia said rubbing my back. I was about to answer when a waiter walked by with a bowl full of macaroni and cheese that turned my stomach causing me to bolt to the restroom heaving until my stomach was empty. Anne must have followed me as she rubbed my back. "Sofia left to get you a test from across the street. Amity, honey, I'm telling you right now that it's your choice to take it, but I won't be letting you drink any alcohol at all tonight. Understood?" Anne stated a bit firmer at the end. "Yes Ma'am" I answered quickly before we left the bathroom.

We got to the club and were let right in before making our way to the bar. Anne stopped the bartender who glanced at me before nodding. He came back with four drinks placing mine down first before giving the girls theirs. I sipped at it slowly as we walked towards the tables. One of the guards claimed a seat at the table before we left our stuff and hit the dance floor. It was clear that Cassady had alcohol in her already but Anne and Sofia seemed to be sober still. We all danced together with Anne warding off any unwanted male companions. Sofia dragged me off the dance floor with her as Cassady started making out with Anne. I grabbed my clutch and told Sofia I had to pee before heading to find the bathroom. Sofia followed me waiting outside my stall as I peed on the stick and set a timer on my phone for three minutes. I watched with bated breath as two lines ever so slowly appeared. I jumped when the timer went off dropping the test along with my phone and breaking it. "Amity, are you alright?" Sofia called through the door but I couldn't answer as it felt like all my breath was stolen. After several minutes of not receiving an answer I heard her on the phone but all I could do was stare at the plasticstick that's changing my life.

I was frozen still as I heard Anne come try to coach me out of the stall with no luck. Then, I heard her on the phone too. "Cutie?" I heard one of the twins question outside the door. I remained silent. "Cutie I'm going to open the door. We all can go upstairs to my office until Darius comes." He stated as the lock was released. I still remained silent and unmoving as he opened the door. "Cutie let's wash your hands and head upstairs. Girls grab her things from the floor," Derek directed picking me after spying the stick glaring at me with two lines on it. He washed my hands before cradling me to his chest carrying me upstairs to his office. I was placed down on a couch before a fuzzy pink blanket was placed on top of me. I was lost in my head and couldn't do anything but I could hear what was going on. I heard Tyler come in as Sofia got scared by my behavior slipping into her little space. I heard as Cassady was screaming something is wrong being bewildered by my behavior. I heard as Anne and Tyler went into their Caregiver mode. As Derek was on the phone telling Darius that we were in his office. I heard as Darius arrived and as no told him about the pregnancy test but that I had broken my phone. Darius tried unsuccessfully to get me to tell him what was wrong. He ended up carrying me to the car where I fell asleep on the way home.
