Clem wasn't quite sure what she was expecting from the watch party - but it wasn't this. She was half-heartedly expecting to get together and have pizza and drinks at Nat or Joe's house. This was next level. Hors d'oeuvres, champagne, wine, cocktails, carving station, buffet style, dessert, all the things. Everyone was dressed to the nines, and all eyes were on she and Joe. He knew he'd cause heads to turn with her on his arm, but he didn't mind the attention. He wanted to show off his new girlfriend. He spun her around over the music - a remix of Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush was playing in the background, DJ bumping loudly to the beat of his own music. Jamie and Joseph were busy tipsily serenading one another, while Joe and Clem were in their own little world. Millie and Noah were drunkenly (Clementine did not give them her wrist band for drinks! If anyone asked. Wink.) having a dance contest and goofing off - in their own little world - per usual, while the rest of the cast was either eating dinner, at the bar, or chatting.
Clem's social battery was draining quickly after introducing herself, telling the same story of Ladies' Man, and explaining her thick southern drawl. Luckily, every time they got a moment of alone time, a quick kiss from Joe would give her a second wind.
"Attention everyone! Take your seats, the show is about to begin!" The emcee announced, causing the crowd to shuffle about and make their way to their assigned tables and taking their seats.
Clem looked around her table after hearing the familiar dundun of the Netflix intro, taking in the sight her new friends and boyfriend. Joe, Natalia, Charlie, Jamie, Dacre, and Joseph had quickly become her best friends over the last two months - and she was living a life she never expected to live.
